The intro is actually a banger if you love Japanese rock and metal! I love it so much. 🤘 But I think it's better if you don't watch the intro for now, just to avoid spoilers.

The blonde girl is Louis, one of the Jaegerist from the beginning. She was the little girl Mikasa saved once from a merchant in the 1st season. And about the comment about Floch, Its interesting you think that. I 100% agree he isn’t a genius like Armin or a prodigy like Levi, but we have to kinda get in his shoes to understand where he comes from and all the others. He starts off as an ordinary (as you called them NPCs), insecure soldier, yet he survives Shiganshina after watching almost all of his comrades die. That experience completely changes him, he develops a much stronger mindset, learns to lead, and eventually becomes an important figure within Paradis. Obviously we can hate his ideals and decisions, but he went from being an ordinary soldier to someone capable of influencing and leading others after surviving an absolutely brutal experience, making him go through so much development, so he isnt dumb in that way. But yeah, I hate the guy and Eren jdhasjdh
