쥬아 젤리

The OST was performed by akmu's Soohyun Lee. She has a truly clear and pure voice. If you want to see her in person, I recommend watching Begin Again 2 :)

Arsene Lupin

And during my first watch it was sometimes really hard for me to understand the meaning of some said things. But you´re doing very well.

About Aeshin’s reaction after she actually realizes what “love” means, I saw it as a misunderstanding caused by the fact that she still doesn’t fully trust Eugene. She’s clearly becoming more aware of him and slowly developing feelings for him, but when she first believed he was her comrade, Eugene had the opposite intention and ended up bringing the U.S. military into Joseon. So since then, she’s seen him more as a foreigner than a comrade. That’s why she’s questioned his intentions like "Why didn't you report me?" and doesn't fully trust him. So I think this whole scene was meant to be more of a light, comedic misunderstanding ㅡ Aeshin getting embarrassed at herself, especially knowing that Eugene already knew what “love” meant all along😂 and thinking “Wait… is "Love" another scheme of his to bring down Joseon?” lol

Just to clarify a couple of subtitle inaccuracies: When Aeshin saves the woman disguised as a geisha from the japanese soldier, she says: X: “I have to save her, because one day, she could become like me.” O: “I have to save her, because one day, I could become her.” The meaning is that Aeshin knows that she herself could end up in the girl’s position one day, as she is fighting for the same cause. Also, when Aeshin asks Eugene what he is doing in Joseon and whether his “love” might actually be part of his intention to bring down Joseon: X “Now that I think of it, I guess I destroyed myself.” O “Now that I think of it, this was the road to my ruin.” Because he knows by falling in love with Aeshin, he is becoming more deeply connected not only to her, but also to the Joseon she is fighting to save—and therefore to the fate and danger that come with her cause. This drama is known not only for its cinematography, but also for the beauty and depth of its dialogue. Really love all your reactions🥰
