JOJO TOO?!? OK, HOLD ON.I genuinely didn't believe it for the first 10 minutes...

We've officially wrapped up Phantom Blood — and what a wild, emotional ride it was. I'm a little sad to say goodbye, but SO excited to dive into the next arc and meet even more iconic characters 🥹

Congrats with finishing the first part! You enjoyed a lot more than expected. I’m always surprised by how much you pay attention to the show, you even catch some lines that people often seem to miss (like Erina’s pregnancy) and you never stop commenting or leave the show playing in the background without talking about it. overall 10/10 reaction

3 episodes in one day?! 😮 Is this a one time thing or has the quota been raised for amount of episodes per week?

Otaku Steph

HAHAHA most likely will still be roughly two episodes a week - very heavily dependant on my work schedule! also, my internet has finally fixed so it doesn't take 9 hours to upload a 20 minute video xD

Otaku Steph

YIPPIIIEEE!! I'm so happy you enjoyed watching along! Honestly, this anime has me in a chokehold i love it SO MUCH 😭

Jeremy Brooks

I’m very excited for part 2. I personally like it a lot

Otaku Steph

I've heard REALLY good things about part 2 and 6 especially, so very excited to witness even more JoJo's!!

ArFanik

Of all the parts, I think this one is the least Bizarre. It is an Hero's Journey, and the characters don't have a lot of time to develop because of the quick pacing, to me, it's almost like we're told of a myth or legend. Despite that, it's one of the parts I'm most fond of because the setting and era it's in, it also builds the foundation of the world

ArFanik

JoJo is also a sweetheart and, like you, I could only root for him and be sad of his fate.

Something to made Jonathan's death all the more said. Zeppeli originally said that 'Drop the wine glass and I will abandon you', what do we see on the cruise ship? Jonathan drops his wine glass and his hamon, his training, all of it doesn't save him. It was fate all along.

Otaku Steph

this is such a beautiful detail omg 🥹

Otaku Steph

i completely agree on the pacing! I strangely felt more attached to Zeppeli than I did Jojo, but both of their deaths were still extremely upsetting despite everything happening so fast with these episodes. Overall, definitely loved the Phantom Blood arc and setting the foundation for the future parts!

hello there

Congrats on completing the first part aka the prologue! the next parts only get longer, the characters get wilder, and the adventure gets more bizarre from here! Also just a suggestion to watch through the last openings of each part. These openings have an SFX version which have become a staple on each part :>
