PART TWO IS OFFICIALLY FINISHED!!!!!!!

Omg, the absolute bait with JoJo “dying”… I’m so happy everyone got their happy ending (well, except for Kars—FU KARS).

It’s super bittersweet saying goodbye to Part 2 and Speedwagon, but I’m really excited to meet the next Joestar. Also, I just realised Joseph is probably one of the Five Stars from the OP—guess we’ll have to wait and see!

Thank you all for joining me on this bizarre journey so far. If it isn’t obvious, I’ve been having so much fun reacting to this masterpiece of an anime, and I can’t wait to dive into the next part with you all!

OOOOOH MYYYYY GOOOOOD! Sorry Steph, you won’t get this one yet.

Otaku Steph

HAHAHAHA for now I can only say "OHHH NOOOOOOOOO" 😂

It’s been super fun following your jojo journey. Congrats on finishing part 1 & 2! We’re just getting started

hello there

CONGRATULATIONS ON FINISHING PART 2: BATTLE TENDENCY!! This is probably my most rewatched part because of how short it is and that Joseph is still my favorite JoJo. You could hear Katakuri in Old Joseph's voice since they share the same VA (young Joseph as well). I'd also like to tell you beforehand that each parts from here on out will have different art styles. This is the anime studio's way of showing Araki's artistic evolution throughout the series. Next you'll say: "DOUBLE SHOCK!" We'll be ready whenever you want to get on Part 3! Have fun!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Congrats on finishing part 2! 🥳🥳 Loved your reaction and analysis, it’s been TOP TIER so far! With regards to Speedwagon having remained single for his entire life, I have been told that it could possibly be code for being homosexual. I don’t know if Araki knew that back in the 90s, but I’m a believer, SpeedwagonxJonathan is real! P.S. the Asian zombie Wang Chan was killed by Jonathan on the boat

IT was incredibly entertaining rewatching this part along with you. Hearing your predictions and thoughts as you analyzed each episode made me appreciate some of the details you usually don't sit down and think about. This part of JoJo's is a strong one, and David Productions really did it justice imo. I think there's a lot of fun for you ahead, although I would warn you that Part 3 has a very different pacing (it was made so a lot of the individual manga chapters could be picked up by newcomers and they'd still enjoy it). Despite that, I truly love it and its cast of characters. So, I'm hyped to see you watch it!

I think Speedwagon loved Jonathan way deeper than mere romantic feelings. Jonathan made Speedwagon regain hope in humanity, he inspired him to become the best man he could be. Yes, he remained single, but he also seemed to become quite the workaholic, not surprising he had an heart attack. In any case, Speedwagon is goated, and should be praised for the impact he had on the series' events.

“Things just love going inside Von Stroheim” is one of my new favorite quotes 😭

Otaku Steph

thanks for watching along and also listening in on my final thoughts!! 🥹 I agree - the direction of each episode was FANTASTIC. Can't wait to start Part 3!

Otaku Steph

omg if Speedwagon had some unrequited love for Jonathan I dont think i could take it 😭😭 Also, my god, my memory is horrific thanks for reminding me about Wang HAHA

Otaku Steph

thank YOUUU for watching along with me! Been really enjoying reading your comments as well and warnings on specific OPs and end credits scenes! OOOO varying artstyles?! say LESS

Otaku Steph

thanks, jeremy!! It's been an incredibly fun journey!

Personally, phantom blood & battle tendency are my favorite parts in all of JoJo's. I know it's not the most popular by any stretch and most people enjoyed the later parts much more, but there is something about the themes, the time it takes place in, the musical style, the connections to real world history, everything about it is PERFECT to me. After having watched the whole series a while back it was nice to be able to re-live parts 1 & 2, especially with your analysis picking up on things I never noticed my first watch around. The series gets a little different going forward, but what comes next is REALLY what cemented JoJo's identity. Excited to see you react to part 3!

ah, the only series that got me sayin' "oh, thank god the nazi is here". araki is a wild writer

hello there

Hell yeahh!! Also part 2 Josteph Art coming soon! :>

Otaku Steph

When I started cheering for von Stroheim I seriously started doubting myself AHAHAH

Otaku Steph

YESS I feel like this is the first anime I’ve experienced where there’s so many visual cues to pick apart and I LOVE the music references and outfits 🔥 there’s so much to love about JoJo’s
