Just finished eps 42. Not sure if you caught that Steph, but each of the D'Arby brothers' weakness was the other's strength. Terence T. D'Arby lost because he was too pompous, and a poor trickster unlike his older brother, and Daniel J. D'Arby lost because he could not read Jotaro's soul unlike his younger brother. It shows that their ego and disdain for each other was what lost them the battle, because if they had teamed up, they would've been unbeatable. Adding to the idea that DIO employed mostly self-centered egoistic people, and that what's lead them to their doom oftentimes.

Wonder Of You

vanilla ice is truly the most obsessive dio servant cool music reference though lol

OMG peak has arrived. The vanilla ice episodes are imo some of the best in the whole series. RIP Avdol, he dies first TWICE (against hol horse and here) 😭

🫩 ahh, we’ve arrive to this part of the, well… part. To remember the utter shock i felt watching this the first time around. I couldn’t watch the next episode that day, it takes a LOT to make me shed a tear, and this made me shed more than one. It makes you think about all the time you spend with these characters. It truly is different watching it along with someone rather than alone. I’ve started looking forward to every single post. I just can’t wait for the next episodes.

Beevan

We're in the endgame now folks!!!!

Bro this video went flying wtf 1hour of my work day just despawned while watching this lmao Funny how darby jr. Ability is basically a counter to his brother. I think that his thirst for feeling superior to his brother is what gave him such stand. He's like the uncheatable. And because of that he also doesn't need to cheat. And a bit about Dio's conversation with Vanilla ice. Dio says D'arby lost because he was unwilling to give his life to Dio. And thinking about it, i realized this is kind of a running theme on JoJo's i have never noticed. Those who win big battles are always the ones willing to lose their well being in name of their beliefs and objectives. Jonathan only defeated Dio because he worried more about stopping Dio than about his own safety. Joseph only won because he was willing to risk his life luring Kars to the volcano and sacrificing himself in it. And even Kars only reached his goal because he priorized it over his "brother", "son" and image. The reason vanilla ice is such a menace unlike all the other stand users is because he again is not worried about his own safety or well being. He worries only about honoring Dio. Most of the other stand users feared death or pain. They followed Dio for fear, admiration or money. Not by pure loyalty. N'doul, anubis and others that were there by mere loyalty were the most dangerous and the ones that got closest to actually get the crusaders. Gigantic comment again. Sorry!!

Otaku Steph

Oh I 100% agree! The scariest enemies (and heroes, as you mentioned in this case) are by far the ones who fight with nothing to lose. Also haha - I’m glad I could help ease your workday by a bit!!

Otaku Steph

It’s not a true JoJo’s Part unless you cry at a major character death 😭😭💔

Otaku Steph

My heart frickin BROKE. It was so perfectly directed too FML 😭😭 WE CAN ALL CRY TOGETHER, ZOMBIE

Otaku Steph

Vanilla Ice is indeed number one simp 😂😂

Otaku Steph

OOOO wait I love this! Their arrogance led to their downfall as they refused to team up with one another. Very sick observation 🤯🤯

Otaku Steph

I deffo did NOT notice this HAHA 😭🍦

Otaku Steph

The part where Iggy jumps on his shoulder and they have each others backs made me tear up 😭😭 I LOVE THEM
