Absolute banger of a video! Had to heat up my rice box for this one :> Now, regarding the big theme of this part, TIME. Time plays a big part in almost everything the Crusaders are up against and more: - A race against time to save Holly - The power of DIO's stand - The cogs of time and the ticking clock shown throughout the opening - The first few seconds of the opening showing the first three JoJos, indicating how many generations are facing against DIO and his impact - Jotaro being able to fight in DIO's time stop was also shown in the final seconds of the intro Ep 48's intro is the sfx version and adds DIO in the part that shows everyone's fate. It's so good so I hope you'll like it as well! I also hope you take time to listen to the outro for the last time, and everything it symbolizes :>

Jotaro is completely fine after manually stopping his heart because, maybe you missed it, he pumps it a ton right after and before DIO gets to him. It made oxygen go through his blood very quickly and there's probably adrenaline as well in the mix

W for doing all 3 parts of DIO's world in one vid 🔥🔥🔥. That being said, here are a couple of clarifications: -The reason DIO runs away at the beginning is not because he couldn't beat them all, but because of the sunlight that came in when Joseph and the others smashed down the wall. (Like Joseph later says they would've all died if they had all fought together). -The reason DIO made the senator drive isn't because he's showy necessarily (even though he is lol), but it's because, as he says, cars weren't invented back in his day, so he literally doesn't know how to drive -If you were wandering why Jojo has never used time stop before it's because, as Enya hints at, in order to stop time you must believe you can. -Another thing is, DIO doesn't have 4 different abilities. That was just the design of the tarot card. (I think time stop is op enough lol) Either way can't wait for the last episode. We not even half way through the show btw 😭

So Dio's stand is the World truly even if he didn't have Johnathon's body because the stand is linked more so to your soul than your body. However there is still somewhat of a link to the body which...is why he also has hermit purple :) because what they are basically trying to tell us is that Johnathan (Joseph's grandad) would have had hermit purple as a stand if ever lived long enough to get one. Also if you notice that all the crusaders have colours in their names! Silver Chariot, Platinum, purple, Etc

Ok post watching comment now God this is so hype Just some clarifications: That "hermit purple like" stand Dio uses at the start of part 3 was Jonathan's stand. Just Jonathan's, no Dio soul involved. Having 2 souls habiting the body allowed Dio to use 2 stands at the same time. Jonathan's hermit purple and The world. So both Jonathan and Dio technically have two stands. And a lot of people get confused about Jotaro having the same ability as Dio Have you ever wondered why Star Platinum was the only stand with no special ability? I mean. Every stand has its physical power but also has a special unique ability. Controling fire, transforming into minerals, stealing souls and etc.. Yet Star platinum only punched people until this point. Just now we're seeing it's special ability. We've seen that relatives can have very similar stands. Like Jonathan and Joseph or Daniel D'arby and Terence D'arby. And the reason Jotaro never used Star Platinum's ability until now. Enya sort of explains. "You have to believe you can stop time, it haves to become natural to you." Jotaro never even thought of such ability. But after Joseph/Kakyion told him, he tried and found out he could. Dio himself has The World fora year and a half or more. But said he only found out about time stop 6 months ago. It's such an OP ability that even realizing it exists is difficult lol. Edit: oh and no, Jotaro and Dio aren't flying. They're impulsing themselves up with their stands. Like kicking the ground to go up and punching walls to change direction. The animators probably thought it would be hard to make it not silly for them to keep hopping while having monologues. In manga it's easy to put a whole paragraph of dialogue on one frame. But animating Dio talking for 15 seconds after jumping would probably look weird lmao. Edit 2: jesus christ the size of this comment I'm so sorry

Now that you know what Dio's stand does, remember when Polnareff was climbing the stairs when going down? Dio was stopping time, and manually picking up polnareff and putting him down a few steps down. Very funny to think about.

The tubes on his back are air containers like a suba diver would use!! I believe Its a reference to a song called holy diver, by an artist who is also named Dio :)

OHHH thanks so much for clarifying about the Purple Stand and The World - I had thought Jonathan’s original Stand (i had initially thought was The World) was so OP he had several abilities 😂😂 but this makes sense. Also YAAASS it’s actually so epic how jojo can utilise SP’s time stopping abilities in the next episode. Also thank you for explaining the flying part HAHAHAH it would look kinda goofy if they kept having to kick whilst having these long dialogues 😂 Never apologies for long comments! I genuinely enjoy reading everyone’s thoughts and interesting trivia

Fun Fact: when Polnareff attack Dio in the head I believe he know he is the last crusader alive to finish Dio since Jotaro barely moving and lying on the ground and thought he was dead just like Joseph earlier

I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned this yet, but one of my favorite theories is that when Polnareff pierced Dio's head, he did it thinking he was the only Crusader left alive, which feels so sad.

Also, one more thing. Jonathan's "Hermit Purple" looking stand is actually called "The Passion", I believe Araki mentioned that in an interview, but we have no idea what it does. Probably something similar to Joseph. :)

Nope. It was only called The Passion on the Jorge Joestar Novel. But in canon, it's just called Jonathan's Stand.

I'm a year late and you probably already know this by now but The World's design is based off a Dio song, Holy Diver, its why he's got the tubes and oxygen tanks on his back :D It fits thematically as well since Dio was locked underwater for 80+ years
