This is where all the pieces start coming together. Most of the additions of Kira earlier in the series are actually added in the anime, he quite literally just blends in and is in the background in some shots. He wasn't planned in the beginning. The main motif of the arc that Araki has been developing is actually Morioh itself. There's a very particular thing that Araki is going for, it's a small town, the pace seems slower, the people seem friendlier. There are landmarks there is pride in the town. It's in the culture, it's in the people. Kira ties everything together, i won't say anymore on him it's quite the ride. You know of your neighbor but do you truly know them? Every villain so far has selfishly pursued their volition forcing situations on other people. The streets may seem familiar but people hide their shadows, that's what makes people scary, they blend in.

Reimi's murder is based on "The Licked Hand" a Japanese urban legend. Also, isn't Rohan the most fabulously dressed guy ever? He's the only character in Jojo who keeps changing outfits, and I love him for that (and Kira too I guess). And finally, we have Kira Yoshikage, my favorite Jojo villain, who incidentally was modeled after David Bowie (also I love Kira's theme).

Reimi is such a tragic character, but despite enduring her suffering, she did not choose to become a vengeful spirit but hopes her city can be protected and safe from our Thin White Duke and has been trying to find morally good people who can stop her and the other victims' killer. Totally forgot that Reimi was connected to Rohan's backstory; now I see and remember why Part 4 is definitely in the top 3 parts of all of JoJo. Love that this part is very much villains who often have understandable reasons for why they do what they do, apart from Akira and the rat, becoming neutral or friends or helping their fellow citizens. Excited to see more of our well-dressed Kira and how this part goes forward. Am i the only person who thinks reimi's backstory is super similar to "humans can lick too" ToT Anyway, when Araki was originally writing part 4, he didnt really have an idea of who the main villain was going to be (because jojo was originally meant to be 3 parts, and he didnt know how to tie a new villain into the plot). I remember my first time watching Jojo, (I’m gonna ramble now) a friend at school told me I just had to watch Jojos because part 5 just dropped and it was peak. Every part that I watched got better and was different. From part one, to stands of part three, to now the different art style (slimmer) and a total revamp of Arakis storytelling, every part was different and unique. They all stood out so when someone says “part _ is my favorite” I can understand why. Because that part has a unique trait to it. I love this part. It has stuck with me the most since I started watching Jojos 6 years ago 👴🏻. Every year I rewatch it. Every year I hate starting part 4 because, A) it will never be as mind blowing as the first time, and B) because it will inevitably end. So with that said, enjoy the ride, because if you end up liking part 4 as much as me, you will miss it as soon as it’s over.

I was overthinking this. I kept trying to type a comment relating to this and JoJo's and I kept getting carried away and typing long overenthusiastic comments that I had to delete so I don't accidently post too much. I've just recently caught up with the manga and I'm very happy with the art, characters and stories I've gotten to experience since I started my JoJo's journey. As long as you don't get scared off by the horror elements, I hope you enjoy it. There's certainly plenty to analyze and appreciate, especially from this point onward.
