Ooooohh shigechi.. i- he’s interesting for sure!! His stand is actually one of the most useful to have if you used it correctly! I hate his initial personality… howwwevveerr i see alot of myself as a kid in him (undiagnosed autism and adhd ^^,) so i cant go too hard on him :) it was so funny everytime you called him an old guy previously

Lmao Shigechi catching strays being called an old guy/alien, Steph have you no manners? 😤 To be fair though the anime decided to make his spiky hair flesh colored for whatever reason so I’ll let it slide for now. Nice to see you being a bit more understanding with the character, he acts a bit like an asshole here, but at the end of the day he’s is just a child

Yay, Shigechi time! Personally, I think it resolved itself well, and what this episode teaches is the reality of money and being fair with your earnings and being honest and true to others. Shigechi is a smart kid, ngl, quite versatile, yes. Yep, he definitely would be a useful ally. Yeah, it is nice to have recurring characters or just characters with different motives, as that is what people are like in real life. The Oku-Jo combo is superb; Okuyasu is using his noggin and being calculated. Let's gooo, Keicho would be proud. Great analyses as usually, and no need apologize, gang. Get well soon, yee. Bless you. I love these stories where Josuke gets to do little schemes with his friends. It’s so cute and funny. You don’t get it in any other Jojo part. I think Shigechi is low key adorable. Kinda ugly cute. And I love how understanding Josuke is with him. As the series goes on, you really get to see how good with talking to kids Josuke is. He’s such a sweetie.

I love the slice of life moments of Part 4! Love the Jobromance between Josuke and Okuyasu and their trust in each other. And imagine the ordinary Joe's reaction to seeing Shigecchi just rolling up the sidewalk at super speed lol

People think these episodes are just “filler” (they are in the manga) or pointless. Every single episode has a specific purpose unlike last season where we did have a lot of villain of the week episodes. Every episode has a reason for being here. It adds in some way. I can’t WAIT for these next three episodes. They are so fun and such a good watch!

I really like Shigechi. He's a genuinely nice guy, but due to his sheltered upbringing he easily gets swept away with things, be that other's influence or his own emotions.

I get irrationally angry with Shigechi, he doesn't really deserve it. Some people you just don't gel with and for me this is one such case. Power does corrupt people and in Shigechi's case he has a generally good nature which is admirable, delusions of heroism is a response to power too. Greed is the one thing that society has conditioned us the most to gravitate towards. Despite wanting to make a connection he hasn't been social enough to appreciate bonds, he probably isn't used to sharing either. If you aren't taught you have to learn yourself later, he's also just young. In all of the town he's probably the most grounded and good natured person, when he gets powers he doesn't think of how to impose on other people's lives be it selflessness of selfishness. When you grow up you have to play with the hand you're dealt, it's easy to forget how young a lot of these characters are. It's to some extent true that when people do something good it's a mix of how they want to appear, satisfying the image of how they want to be and out of love for people. You can't really choose your childhood, all 3 of those are shaped by your childhood. When people take the steps to mature what drives good is a wholly different thing, purpose and duty. The part about him not being interested in people who don't have stands is more so about the duty of the power and experience he has.

Even the first time I watched part 4, I didn't hate Shigechi. He's just a kid who, despite his ability to be swayed very easily by outside influences, is good natured and wants to be loved. Can't wait for the next few episodes. It's going to be bombastic.. lol.
