Also, I realised, technically does Sheer Heart Attack count as an Independent Stand??? I would normally say no, as whatever happened to it effected Kira too, but let me know what you guys think

Kiras stand is very complicated. It has different stages but unlike echoes with the acts, it just sort of melds into the main stand itself, or atleast thats how i would describe it. I forgot the structure of these episodes. How they jump around its cool! I never put together the buggy connection

Yes, the Stand that's just straight up a Radio Tower! And yes, this is an actual Radio Tower, unlike Strength's where he transforms a small boat into a big one. Also, funny how Superfly is a Radio Tower, meanwhile in Part 3, you have Tower of Gray, which is a super flying insect.

Sheer Heart Attack is not an independent stand. It’s an ability Killer Queen can deploy from its own hand. Kira’s stand just has two abilities.

Enigma is finally here! One of my favorite fights in series, I really love this part. Also Sheer heart attack is an automatic stand, not independent, automatic stands ignore range and damage transfer but can only follow simple commands There’s a new op in episode 36 btw

We have seen an independent stand in the past with Anubis. The stand resides in the sword and the master died a long time ago.

A little correction, we've had a similar case in Part 3 where characters were stuck in different situations. Whenever Polnareff and Jotaro were facing Alessi, Joseph and Avdol were facing Maria. (But one villain being set up the same episode as characters are already fighting a stand user is a first I believe)

These episodes are sooooo creative. It’s another time Araki shows his storytelling talent. so idk how much this has been mentioned but if you couldn’t tell already the art isn’t that bulky. This is the part where Araki develops his own concept and I think he also starts to tell the story the way he wants to rather than what he thinks people want. Also the this is the first part not dealing with vampires. I know it’s obvious but I guess I’m just trying to point out the massive difference between these parts and its evolution is unmatched.

I love how clever these stand users are, lol, always makes the fights more dramatic :). I honestly did a double take when I heard my user name, I never expected it. In the manga, these three fights were separated out, one after the other but with the time stamps like we see here so readers know that they happened so close together, David Productions combined them to save time and make things dramatic, I can't think of any other time this would be possible, so kudos to them for thinking of that. Also in the manga, Toyahiro says that he wears a mask and uses a fake name so that his family won't be embarrassed by his lifestyle choice, which I think is kind of sad, but it makes sense with the mindset of honoring your family in Japan. Also, just like "Highway Star", "Speed King" is another song by Deep Purple. Something added for the anime is that if you go back and rewatch previous episodes where Josuke is in tough situations, you can spot Josuke biting his lip. Sorry for the long comment, JoJo's has a lot of fun facts, and I like it enough that it became my favorite thing. Happy New Year!

Its a breath of fresh air to see Yuya swallowing his pride and realising when he's being too arrogant for his own good, because most of the time we see characters who are too cocky to ask for help lol And the 3 girls (Reiko, Akemi & Yoshie i think they were called) are literally just part of his "fanclub" or whatever. I guess its like how Josuke also had a bunch of girls following him around at the beginning of part 4 (the difference being Josuke didnt really care about them)

Mikitaka is too adorable and helpful. 😭👽 And Yuya the honorary Jobro 😎 Enigma is so cool. Such a unique Stand. The user has a cool design too, but does give off mad creep vibes lol. The paper stuff is so funny out of context haha. Superfly is honestly pretty cool too, in a different kinda way. I love how inventive Toyohiro was with it.

IIRC the pacing of it swapping between plot A, B, C, etc. with constant flashbacks and forth is exclusively an anime thing, instead of doing individual story arcs sequentially on what's supposed to be the same day. Imagine needing to remember like 2 story arcs ago for something happening at the same time...

I mean it's definitely directed to be adapted this way for a reason. It's both a creative choice and a way to build tension. can't say much more than that.

Mikitaka is such a stellar alien fella; I hope they save our boy Koichi. And ooh, what a weird fellow that mister back guy. The way these episodes are shot, it is very suspenseful and daunting. I'm excited for what is to come, plus great analyses once more. I would say sheer heart attack is an independent stand to a degree, as yes, it can hurt Kira, but it acts on its own independent actions and does not need Kira to directly control it. The guy with Enigma, if he put his skills to good use, could be a modern-day Morioh-cho Sherlock Holmes.
