Triple drop?! Maybe this year won’t be so bad after all

Gyro_GoGo_Zeppeli

And here we are, and here we go! The finale of the Golden Hearts of Morioh! Didn't think you'd bang out all three remaining episodes lol Yes, I'd love to see Thus Spoke reactions! Whichever way you go next, we follow that golden wind to the next part!

Faust

The Okuyasu dream scene always gets me :'(

Caroline Medhurst Jackson

I'm really excited for you to watch part 5 I rematches it recently and I enjoyed it so much

Gyro_GoGo_Zeppeli

Steph crying over Okuyasu's revival, emotional to see. The funny thing is Okuyasu DID die, Josuke was too late to save him, it was by his own choice to go back to life, Josuke healing his body gave him the proper chance to.

Icy101yt

Just finished last two episodes reactions, time for the finale! I love watching these so sososo much i’m so very excited for golden wind

PsychoHelmet

My favorite part and Joestar next, so excited :3

Radeld

Same here. Have been waiting for the Part 5 from the first one on Youtube. It's kinda crazy that it's been 6 months since I joined the journey.

Hardcase

What a great journey, it’s been awesome seeing you react to part 4. Your memory is still on top and it’s great to see how much you pay attention to the series, I love how you remember little details like the first girl that entered salon Cinderella or even the news report of highway star crashing in the tunnel that so many people miss. I also really like how the thoughts section at the end has gotten longer with this part, it’s really nice to hear you reflect and give your opinion on the episode. It’s really fun to watch you react Steph! If you want you can watch the ending of part 4 again, it includes a few more characters than before. I would also be interested in watching thus spoke kishibe Rohan as well, the openings and endings are safe for that one as well.

Hardcase

One cool detail most people don’t know: in the final episode of part 4 they play song Great Days as the outro for the episode, this version of great days is sung by the previous artists of all the earlier openings

Korgannon

I really love the fact that Yoshikage Kira died because no one noticed him, especially the ambulance guy, that's really what he wanted after all! Btw! For Thus Spoke Kishibe, it's not MANDATORY to watch it before part 5, but if you want to stay a little bit more in Morioh and see more of Rohan you should definitely watch it!

Bonsai2680

god I cried like 3 times at the end, its way too good

Owen Harper

Great analysis and reaction as always, really elevates the watching experience. And yeah the Mona Lisa is piff but could use some bangs imo

ArFanik

I just noticed your Joseph figure in the background!! Looks great ahah

Wonder Of You

your gonna love golden wind easily the best fights in the entire series and the stands are cool as hell. the main villain is also very cool

Dylan Anderson

Thus spoke Kishibe Rohan is amazing, Id love you to watch it. Also whenever you get a chance - there’s a Japanese live action Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan and a movie that are all amazing as well! Live action amazing, yeah I said it haha, trust me though. It is!

gagarin

also if you'd like to know more about what the afterlife is like in JoJo's and a sort of spin off/sequel to part 4 you should read Dead Man's Questions, it's a one-shot Araki wrote that does some really cool stuff

ArFanik

crazy how fast Part 4 went by, I'm glad you enjoyed it despite how different it is to the previous parts.

ArFanik

+1 Yeah, I own it in French and it's a cool story

hello there

Could tell Joseph is still her fave JoJo. Can’t blame her , Josuke’s dad and Joseph’s son are 1a and 1b for me

ZamNoExam

True quite a nice one shot indeed

Zackcat

If you want something cool to read on your own time, you should give Deadman's Questions a look. (don't look to deep into it online, you might get easily spoiled.) Araki wrote this mini-series in 1999 after Part 4. Thanks for the fun times reliving Jojo. https://mangadex.org/chapter/93cde5d7-be33-4bd5-b57f-bf6c39a02290 (Part 1) https://mangadex.org/chapter/b05c6b2b-bec0-4d05-8338-ba298694eaf1 (Part 2) https://mangadex.org/chapter/338d3f52-caca-4b27-a614-a3d8d4edeac2 (Part 3)

hello there

Kira died by not being noticed just as he wanted, is the irony of it all. I’m glad you’re not one of those watchers who thought Jotaro alone defeated Kira when the entire part was building towards the entire town against the villain. To me, the title ‘Diamond is Unbreakable’ wasn’t about Josuke’s stand, it was about the town’s undying will to fight against evil. “With our powers combined, we can even surpass time.” as it was sang in the opening. Thank you for enjoying my favorite animated part! Onto Golden Wind!

ZamNoExam

Hayato struck gold once more, and what a clever, ingenious young man to call Josuke that. And Josuke is the antithesis, the complete polar opposite to Kira. Thanks to those and the combined efforts of Okuyasu, Koichi, and Josuke, they were able to win and beat the villain, who passed away via an accident out of his control. Serves him right for being an absolute inhuman menace but still a man like you and me. Happy that now the spirits can rest in peace YIPPEE YAAYY! Peace, Reimi and Mona Lisa kind of fit, ngl. Anyway, I'm excited for you to see Part 5 but also to rewatch it. Until the next, and a golden spirit, as Joseph stated. I'm glad the majority of our crew and secondary allies survived this part, yay! Also, Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan is an intriguing and entertaining watch. The analysis is correct; at the end of the day, these people in Morioh-cho are just ordinary citizens; they are not killers or assassins like Dio's minions or used to killing; a large portion are children or college students, and while some may behave strangely, with a little whack or talking to, they are sorted out or properly shift their focus, as most are good-spirited or simply want to survive. So glad they didn't kill Kira. Good luck with your health.

Memesicles

I'm glad you did the final eps all at once

Aras

damn that i am sad too

DO THE KİSHİBE REACTİONS PRETTTY PLSSS

Victor

So kira could grab raymi but her hand goes through him? The birds fly through him but the dog ripped off Kira’s hand off?

steely dan

Now that we've reached the end of Diamond is Unbreakable, I feel like this might be something to bring up. Originally, Kira was meant to have a backstory, but Araki ultimately decided to cut it from the story as he thought that it might cause people to feel sympathy for Kira, which he didn't want. I believe it was something along the lines of him having a very estranged relationship with his parents when they were still alive, his mother being neglectful and his father not doing anything about it. I believe it was a good idea to cut this from the main story, because even though we don't have much info on Kira as a character besides being some insane sicko, I feel like that in itself was the main part of his character. Being someone who didn't really have clear motive, just a killer who does what he does. And about Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan, it's a very horror oriented series. The episodes are really interesting, imo, but they have nothing to do with the main story of JoJos. It would be great to see your reactions to them.

ZombieKi11er

And that’s all. My favorite part is completed. Dw only a fool wouldn’t stick around, and I’m no fool. I don’t know what to write honestly I’m so bummed and happy it’s over 😭. I’ve literally been looking forward to this fight ever since you announced you were going to watch Jojos. I think the reason why I like part 4 the best is because I can relate a lot to Josuke (Besides having a stand). I’ve always liked his character and as stated I understand his characters way of dealing with scenarios. If only my entire high school years were as eventful as his freshman year. This part just stands out so much. From them not actually being the cause for the main villains demise and having like 8 main characters. Not to mention this all happened in Morioh. And the twist villain. This part really got up and ran with its ideas. It was so creative and genuinely 38/39 episodes are interesting and rewatchable. Can’t say that for the other parts… maybe part 2. And just like that part 4 has concluded and part 5 is next… IM SO HYPED! (And still sad)

BlueBlurNinja

just wanted to say Thank You for these videos

Pachiboy

Part 4 had some rough parts but a spectacular end. It only gets better from here imo I would highly recommend watching some Musical Leitmotif/MMVs from this part, particularly the one for Bites the Dust. Probably not youtube friendly because of the songs but still worth on your own time at least

astralman

I hope you take this in the helpful way I intend. Due to how Bites the Dust works, Kira was warping fate for his purposes, and Hayato is reacting to Kira's version of fate. It's interesting to think about how Kira ending up in the family with Hayato might have been the most fateful turn of events, don't you agree? Joseph had fate on his side with defeating Kars, since there's no way he could know the volcano would actually do that, just like how Rohan Finding the ghost alley at that right moment was the whole reason they even knew to look for a killer. . Fate is a fairly complex natural force. Looking back on it, Dio mentioning that God created fate at the end of part 1 seems like set up for everything after that. . . . . Araki has said that true fate isn't something that can just be beaten through effort. So we just need to hope for the best when there's nothing else to do, and keep a look out for anything good fate has in store. I think each part has a new milestone in how Araki writes certain elements of his stories, and at this point, I think part 4 was really the beginning of Araki writing more solid themes and I'm looking forward to what you see next. . (Wait a minute! Is that a Joseph figure in the background? Very cool!)

randomguy

Before going into part 5 I really think you should react to "Thus spoke Kishibe Rohan" as you can already tell, it's an animated spin off of Rohan's encounters with the supernatural. It's really fun and short as it only has like 4 episodes and I think you'd like it.

AyaNithes

Part 4 is my favorite one, and I have so much fun watching ur reactions. This is incomparable enjoyment. I rewatched Jojo so many times but this is actually something else.

Akechi

PLEASE watch thus spoke kishibe rohan, it sets up the part 5 story a little and uses the part 5 artstyle (plus its actually good)

Alex

And just like that we say goodbye to Morioh. Part 4 is my favorite one. I really enjoyed watching these reactions

Akechi

i agree with the manga content! it vastly differs sometimes, the first panel of part 1 is actually the aztecians testing the mask from part 2

JeanJean

Even though this part doesn't quite reach the same heights as part 3 for me, it's still really great. I was kinda disappointed on my first watch, I still feel that some characters and abilities should have been fleshed out a little more, that the last stand battles were a little disappointing and that Josuke lacked the charisma of the previous Jojos (Koichi and Rohan stole the show for me) But even so, it's still ranks second to me. It had a lot of fun and likeable characters, Kira was an amazing antagonist and Morioh as a setting is a vibe. Next part's gonna be hype as well, it does have a lot of issues imo but the fights are some of the best in the whole show and the animation is probably the best in all of jojo. The highs are lower but more frequent in comparison to previous parts.

Carson Gardner

Agreed about watching thus spoke. It serves as a nice bridge to part 5. I believe it is meant to occur in between parts 4 and 5. I’m not sure if it’s considered cannon, but it’s still great.

Nobu Seacat

Love part 4. Every episode including Kira is so damn good. I'm glad to have seen you finish yet another part! Can't say that I'm too interested in seeing Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan, but I'll definitely watch if you end up reacting to it. Really looking forward to part 5 though! It's my absolute favorite closely followed by part 6! It just keeps getting better and better!

Brady Forcier

Unfortunately couldn’t get caught up because I’m on holidays but i can’t believe you’re already on to part 5! Can’t wait to continue the jojos story alongside you Steph!

randomguy

Rewatching the end of part 4 alongside your reactions just made me realize how much being a goon doomed Kira Yoshikage, I truly believe that tangent he went on revealing his fetishes to this lady doomed him 😭😭. If he hadn't he'd have probably activated bites the dust way sooner.

Salinia Townsend

I think you should watch part 5 first and then the spin-off because it kind of spoils which characters will be returning in part 5 and it’ll take the surprise out of it. And if she decides to watch it after part 6 it’ll be even better because no spoilers but those who know already know what I mean when I say she’ll definitely miss the part 4 gang even more… so yeah. I think you should save it until later.

Owen Harper

Watching again, can I just say I appreciate your loyalty to Kochi

Otaku Steph

OOOO shit very interesting! you're actually the first person who has mentioned the idea of spoilers, so i'll put a lil' post out to see what the general consensus is. thank you for this!

Otaku Steph

EXACTLYYYY he's literally the world's biggest waffler ffs - even moreso than Dio which is saying something 💀💀

Gabriel Macedo

I find really clever how Araki manadged to maintain Jotaro in the top 1 throne even tho he's not the main character anymore Making him the only one such a overconfident and powerful villain like Kira being afraid of. Kira is completely determined and confident that he'll win until he hears Jotaro's name. Then the "oh so I'm dead then" face comes lmao. Part 4 ending is definitely my favorite. I always questions if it is when i watch other parts endings but nah. Part 4 ending is just BIZARREly good

Gabriel Macedo

You mentioned something that i completely agree Kira was VERY unlucky His first victim was someone with such a good heart and great determination that she waited for years to finally inform someone and cause an investigation on him. The dog he decided to k1ll unnecessarily(for his intentions i mean) was the one who made him turn around Rohan, was coincidentally there that night. And because of that got involved in the case and decided he would catch him. Which paid off since the photos that exposed him was Rohan's doing. He unluckly swapped bags with Shigechi. Who happened to be a stand user. Who was friends with another bunch of them. He lived in a small and quiet town. Perfect for a serial killer, right? Well, it was. But coincidentally Jotaro, probably the best supernatural detective on the world(say that again) had a relative there and made a visit. Not just that but he coincidentally did it right in the same period Keicho was causing chaos which made him stay and participate on the case. His sheer heart attack was perfect and had almost no weakneses. But, unluckly for him, that made Koichi push hard. So hard he ended up with act 3. Who stopped him from activating Bites the Dust in the end. He got away, but ended up in a family that had a over inteligent and analyzing son that ended up finding him out. Fate was never on his side. It was just a big domino effect to make sure his downfall would be as big as it could. To make sure he would NEVER be able to come back

PocariCalpico

Hi Steph - commenting on this now after rewatching and hearing your commentary at the ending. I really liked the idea of part 4 introducing to you the idea that anyone can be a stand user, not necessarily evil people. So now we know that there are people who born stand users like Avdol/Kakyoin, people who develop their stand like Tonio/Aya, and people who were shot with the arrow and gained stand powers. I love the characters and stands, but I especially enjoyed the slice of life genre for this part! In terms of villains even though Kira wasn't as big of a threat as Dio, I think he fit the motif of part 4 well. You also mentioned wanting to go back and rewatch this part. Not sure if it was mentioned before, but there are times where you can see future stand users in the crowd/background and that's something that I enjoyed catching. For instance, at the end of episode 1 you can see some of the stand users in the background watching Josuke. Similarly, after Kira's "appointment" at Aya's salon you can see some of the upcoming stand users and maybe even Kira himself in the crowd of people after work. There's a guy with approximately Kawajiri Kosaku's build and hair style walking away from the gang during rush hour as all the salarymen are going home from work. Bravo, Araki! I'm gonna miss Morioh! Ciao, onto the next part :)

Fernando Aguja

This fight makes me feel terribly tense, especially with Okuyasu temporarily out of action... But I love how "poetic justice" works🚑. Kira Yoshikage's end is perfect for him. And the golden hearts of Morioh will always protect that wonderful town. Even with all the people and losses caused by Kira. Well, it's time to travel to Italy, so you can meet the love of my life.

Ernie

Looking back at this section of part 4 makes you realize that Hayato's dad initially went to cinderella's beauty salon so that he could get his wife to love him, after all thats what Aia's stand is supposed to be able to do :sob: but instead ended up getting his face, hair and fingerprints taken from him and having to see someone life his life. really makes Kira killing him feel even worse

ahmahti

i've rewatched this part countless time, but haven't even thought about that once, really sad stuff.

lola

jotaro wasting the stopped time just to glaze koichi makes me laugh everytime

StoriesFromTheAbyss

I love your analysis on Josuke and Okuyasu's relationship, Okuyasu is one of my top 5 favorite JoJo character's and thinking he died the first time I saw this fucking killed me
