I remember seeing the VHS cover, and I saw this on "Creature Features" a few months ago...I wonder if anyone ever asks Lenore Zann about this anymore.

Great review. I watched this one in high school many times simply because of the cover. Appreciate your butthole differentiation images. 😂

Two movies I would LOVE to see Brandon review: 1.King Kong (1976) 2.Gamera: Guardian Of The Universe

Man, I remember Maury Chaykin from the early 00s version of Nero Wolfe. Quite a departure here!

This movie was a video store classic. As a child I was terrified by the box art. And as you suggest, when I saw the film as an adult (in my 20s) it was a let-down felt even though I kind of knew as a kid it was something exploitive. The funny thing is that if it wasn't for the poster it wouldn't be a major let down. It is a film with an actual attempt at an original plot and it has enough budget to do some things. Unfortunately it is pretty dumb. The title draws an immediate connection to WarGames, a film which also had Maury Chaykin. I have to wonder if the film was changed significantly to have a more "WarGames" like beginning because it would explain the timeline if it originally started in the standard post-apocalypse. The movie was shot a few months after WarGames was released.
