Here is a early demo from the Elvis vs Jackson battle. We had a basic idea of the structure of the verses. But, a lot of the writing was still unfinished. Here are a few words from Lloyd about it:

"This was one of the first battles I can recall which we really pieced together a little at a time. We had a ton of things going on at the time, but knew we had to have the track ready to go in order to track Bentley's vocals down in Texas, so the time frame was very tight. Pete would send me things like the demo above and then we’d both chip away at each part. The Elvis lyrics are a lot of fun, Bentley really crushed it as young Jackson; and the switch up to Pete as adult Jackson worked even better than we thought it would."

We will drop another demo from the archives tomorrow. Keep your eyes peeled.

"Call me Ed Sullivan, shoot you from the waist up" is one of the most vicious bars I've ever heard.
