"Most Wanted" is back!

This time around we are seeking ideas for opponents for swashbuckling legend and man with a deep love for wearing tights; yes - ROBIN HOOD.

He's always seemed like a character deserving of an ERB appearance, but we've never really settled on the best opponent for him. So... that's where you all come in!

We want you to dream up your best suggestions for who Robin could face.

You can post your ideas for opponents in the comments below, or post & discuss them in the '#matchup-ideas' channel on the Discord or email them to: erbpatreon@gmail.com

On Wednesday 15th April we will create two polls on Patreon and YouTube featuring five of our favourite suggestions and see who comes out on top.

=====

Last time out we asked you to vote on potential opponents for JFK. The final five options were Tutankhamun, Fidel Castro, King Arthur, Prince Harry and Richard Nixon.

On Patreon the overall winner with 39% of the vote was King Arthur. Over on the separate YouTube community poll Fidel Castro strolled to victory with 42% of the vote.

Both are fun ideas and totally worthy of consideration. Thank you to everyone who took part in suggesting ideas and voting. It's great to narrow in on options for JFK, as he certainly feels like one President we need to get in an ERB one day.

But, now lets turn to Robin Hood. What are your ideas folks? Post them up.

Robin Hood vs Judge Judy with the sherriff of nottingham as the plaintiff and robin is the defendant

Sean

Jeff Bezos

Colton Rice

A real world thief is the best idea I nominate billy the kid

Dr. E

Robin Hood vs Spartacus

Bubonic

Robin Hood bs John Hancock

MC Fawful

Robin Hood vs Karl Marx

Last Rookie

Robin Hood vs. Robin (boy wonder). Not much to go on, and you technically already did RBW, but you could choose a different one. There are 4/5. I dunno, just a shot in the dark.

Red Claw

Sir Francis Drake

John Kuhns

I would love to see robin hood vs green arrow, but vs billy the kid seems a better suggestion

MaviKartal2003

King Arthur vs Robin Hood (Two of the most well known british folklore characters, king vs criminal)

Dan Tarr

Robin Hood vs Billy the Kid

brianslho

Arsène Lupin seems like the most straightforward answer. Heroic outlaw vs gentleman thief, each with their own philosophy for stealing.

Laxxius

hmm... Should I go for a very silly suggestion again? Yes. Yes I should. Robin Hood is an outlaw. He fights back against injustices in society. So let's put him against a direct opposite. Someone on the side of society, fighting injustices being committed against it. Clearly no one fits this better than John McClane from the Die Hard franchise. Robin Hood vs. John McClane gets my vote.

J-Star

Robin Hood v Bernie Sanders

M.F. Cortez

I think I’m losing my mind because I personally find this really funny. Robin Hood vs. Johnny Appleseed. The visual of Robin Hood shooting Appleseed’s apples is cracking me up right now. AND Appleseed throwing apples back at Hood. I’m sure there’s gotta be some kind of connection.

M.F. Cortez

People are nominating Billy the Kid and I like the sound of that too. The Eastwood vs. Lee battle is my favourite. EASTWOOD IS THE RAP BATTLES GOAT. I’d like to see the combative visual between Robin Hood vs. Billy The Kid.

Laxxius

yes, but no... but yes

Laxxius

This is okay. I think Billy the Kid should go against someone else tbh.

Laxxius

I think it's gonna be one or the other appearing in a battle.

Laxxius

This is my fav

Phoenician

Robin Hood vs. Omar Little Yes, I'm on a repeat marathon of The Wire.

Red Claw

As I think about it Wilhelm Tell would make sense. The question is, if there is enough info/material on Wilhelm Tell to make an interesting battle.

CCVanilla

Robin Hood vs Sly Cooper

Jarred Medlock

Robin Leach - from "Lifestyle's of the Rich and Famous"

Ilan Woll

Robin Hood v Al Capone two famous criminals

A_Lovecraftian_Horror

I’d say Jesse James would be a prime choice. He has a similar reputation to Robin Hood, while also acting as a foil to RH. Whereas RHs whole thing is giving back to the poor to get back at the corrupt King, JJ was a ex-confederate wanting to get back at the north. If anything it gives ya a lot of materiel to work with lol. Sorry for the essay ✌🏼

Slimonstar

I'll go for a wild card, John Wayne.

GWSTREAMS

Robin Hood Vs Legolas

pennylessz

My most wanted now is Karl Marx vs Robin Hood. I've been swayed.

Huntly23 Doge

Robin Hood vs Emperor Palpatine(they both wear hoods...)

Ilan Woll

Robin Hood v Charles Ponzi (creator of the Ponzi scheme)

Huntly23 Doge

What about Robin Hood vs Fantastic Mr. Fox, Robin Hood was a fox in the cartoons, so maybe mid battle he would turn into a fox or something.... idk lol

Huntly23 Doge

Plus Fantastic mr fox is also a criminal

OmgWtfLolFtwBrb

Here's an idea that I'm surprised I haven't seen suggested yet. Robin Hood vs. Pablo Escobar. Escobar much like Robin Hood gave a lot to the poor off his crimes. He just didn't steal his money he earned it by selling cocaine! I think the idea is interesting mostly because of the simmilarites between along with the vast difference in personalities between the two, with Robin Hood deffintly being portrayed as more flamboyant in media and Escobar is the more realer grittier down to earth guy! Other suggeatuons I've seen so far that I like are Robin Hood vs. Zorro, Robin Hood vs. Peter Pan and Robin Hood vs. Billy the Kid

OmgWtfLolFtwBrb

Too Long Didn't Read Robin Hood vs. Pablo Escobar

Robert Rosenthal

Andrew Carnegie Thief v philanthropist Forest living v steel industry

Huntly23 Doge

Plus I don’t think this should be live action, maybe Mr. fox could be stop motion and Robin Hood could be animated

Jarmai Brandon

Also like Robin Hood vs Butch Cassidy

Swamp Food

Robin Hood vs Link maybe?

Brodecai

Robin Hood vs Zorro

Jason Prosin

Ishikawa Goemon. Stole gold and gave it to the poor in ancient Japan.

Asher Rasco

Want to match him up against the greatest british thief of all time who stole from the poor and gave to the rich? Robin Hood vs Nathan Rothschild.

Sean Dageforde

Fermi vs Rickover... father of the atomic bomb vs the father of nuclear power

Leo M. R.

Goemon Ishikawa. You'd probably never do it because he's relatively unheard of outside his native country of Japan, but hey, you never know!

Across The S-Nation

Hannah Barbara vs Matt Groneig or Seth Mcfralne, cartoon creators
