We have seven more ideas for you all to vote on. :)

Rewind Time! In the last round Mr Spock vs Dr Strange warped ahead to a solid victory with 30% of the total vote. In joint second place with 18% each was Marie Curie vs Dr Frankenstein and Neo vs Alan Turing. All three seem like solid matchup ideas.

Now, lets see how this next vote pans out.

Vince McMahon vs. P. T. Barnum is definitely the most standout matchup for me out of this batch. I do think both need to be in an ERB, and against one another? Solid idea. Knoxville vs. Knievel also tickles my fancy!

The Suit

I'm torn because I really, REALLY want to see McMahon vs. Barnum but love the idea of the artists facing off. Stylistic differences aside, the artists' backgrounds make for plenty of good material. It would also be entertaining to see how the avant garde Warhol clashes with tortured artist Van Gogh and the flaming ball of psychosis that was Dali.

Shawn Ravenfire

Dali/Warhol/Gogh sounds interesting, but it might have too many similarities to Picasso/Ross. I'd love to see Rogan and Cronkite in battles, but I don't think they're a right match for each other. I'd rather see a right-wing pundit go up against a left-wing pundit, and then have Cronkite show up at the end to attack both sides. Rogan is an interesting character, but I think he'd be underused if the battle was just "bad information guy" vs "good information guy." I'm kind of torn between McMahon/Barnum, Armstrong/Hillary, and Dickens/Twain. All three of those are great ideas.

John Crovis

Can we vote for more than one? I really like Salvador Dalí vs Andy Warhol vs Vincent Van Gogh, but I also love the idea of Charles Dickens vs Mark Twain. I wish you (ERB) would do both of them. Not a fan of Vince McMahon vs P.T Barnum; I'm just not feeling it.

John Griffith

I am torn as well Vince vs PT or Dickens vs Twain(voted for underdog)

Dickens vs Twain is my favorite. You guys sounded unsure on whether people would find it boring, but everyone I've asked really likes the idea. "It was the best of rhymes, it was the worst of rhymes"

Drew Maxwell

I have to go with Dickens vs. Twain. Both have very interesting lives that can lead to both some good boasts as well as good disses. Of course, there's the fact that Dickens was so proliferous that it just begs for one of Watsky's machine-gun rapping barrages.

If you do the artists, I would recommend taking out Van Gogh and adding in Georgia O'Keeffe, she would be a good addition as the mother of American modernism. You mentioned you don't want to glorify the assassins, but if you take out Oswald and put Brutus in, you'd have a brilliant match up; they are diametrically opposed as Brutus killed Caesar to preserve a republic, while Booth killed Lincoln to destroy a republic. Plus, Brutus ripping on Booth for using his line "Sic semper tyranus" would be awesome.

Danger Dave

Another three-way battle would be cool

Nick Wood

These are all actually really solid matchups so hard to choose

Alvin Franco

I remember suggesting Dickens for Twain before, but I still really love the idea of Oscar Wilde being involved, his style is perfect for witty clap-back raps. Maybe have him as the surprise walk-on? Mark Twain is America’s pride, (occupying a whole chunk of Disneyland). Charles Dickens is obviously British, and Oscar Wilde can come in to represent for Ireland. (They’re very proud of him there. They got his quotes and photos all over bars and restaurants!) And hell, bring in Leo Tolstoy from Russia! Alexander Dumas from France! Make it a Literature Battle Royale, reps from all around the world, that all the bookworms and librarian-types will get hyped for.

The Whiskey Wolf

I went with McMahon/Barnum because I think the actual rap would be interesting to write and the theatrics/costumes/etc. aspect if it would just be insanely awesome.

Shawn Ravenfire

They could do a mashup of all the modern artists, including Ettore Sottass. (Most people don't know the name, but he basically invented the 80s.)

BlazingCosmos

Any chance we could get another magician battle? Maybe Penn & Teller vs Siegfried & Roy?
