Hola! We have seven new matchups, all submitted by patrons, that we'd like you to vote on just to see what you all think about them. Lots of historical characters in this batch of ideas. You can only vote for one matchup. So choose wisely. :)

Rewind Time! In the last round of MTB "Sun Wukong vs Kratos" stomped to victory with a sizable 30% of the vote. It was very close for 2nd place with "King Midas v Medusa" on 16%, "Satan vs Loki" on 14% and "Homelander vs Omni-Man" on 12%.

I would love to see Admiral Yi, the Martial Lord of Loyalty from the east fight against Horatio Nelson, 1. Viscount Nelson! Its very hard to find someone as brilliant as Yi in the east! Admiral Togo regarded Admiral Yi as his superior. At a party held in his honor, Togo took exception to a speech comparing him to Lord Nelson and Yi Sun-sin. It may be proper to compare me with Nelson, but not with Korea's Yi Sun-sin, for he has no equal Prior to the 1905 Battle of Tsushima, Lieutenant Commander Kawada Isao recalled in his memoirs that: ...naturally we could not help but remind ourselves of Korea's Yi Sun-sin, the world's first sea commander, whose superlative personality, strategy, invention, commanding ability, intelligence, and courage were all worthy of our admiration

Jadwiga of Poland vs Bloody Mary

I think Samuel Colt should square off against Abraham Lincoln because of that old saying, "Abraham Lincoln freed all men; Samuel Colt made them equal."

Leo M. R.

An interesting list, to be sure... I think for every matchup I prefer another opponent for at least one of the combatants. But Musashi vs. Oakley is too weirdly interesting not to vote for imo! (although my ideal opponent for Annie Oakley is... Anne Bonney 😄).

The Stupendium

I'd never considered Isambard Kingdom Brunel for a battle but now I'm hearing it I love it, that's a really cool match-up!

Charles Lee

I suggested Musashi... but against Inigo Montoya (a sword battle PLUS a rap battle), but it didn't pan out. Anne Bonney would have worked.

Connor Rankin

How bout Philo Farnsworth vs Guglielmo Marconi?

Alvin Franco

Same here! Either there’s a better matchup, or I just don’t know the names anyway. But Musashi/Oakley was a surprising fit! East vs West, Man vs Woman, ironically, the line that Indy just used: “You vs me is Sword vs Gun!”

Charles Lee

Good one! I could see Philo saying "Video killed THIS radio star" as a line.

Connor Rankin

with Alexander Graham Bell as a potential third party. And dude... that's clever af

I feel like with everything you guys GOTTA do: Will Smith vs Samuel L Jackson (with maybe some "cameos")

Lanie Deadrock

The Wild Hunt vs. Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse

Jaime Martinez

If I die before you guys make Greta Thunberg vs The Lorax I'm going to die a sad man

PlatinumAcorn

Make Will Smith vs Samuel L Jackson!
