So we thought this movie was always considered as a real shitty movie but we had a lot of fun with it! It's corny as hell but it surprised us a lot. Lots of rock talk. Enjoy!

the most average mid corny comic book marvel movie ever made,it’s honestly not that bad but they messed up doom in these movies and I hope the new reboot does him justice,the Michael B Jordan one is awful,another worst comic book movie ever made in all of the wrong directions involved with studio meddling and dull story.pre Captain America himself Chris Evans being a show off in the X games and the song playing on fire is funny and it reminded me of the hell’s kitchen song fiyaaah lol,this is before ghost rider,silver surfer and Iron man and the marvel universe was born,this movie is campy,funny and fun for the whole family,it’s fun to make fun of but the campy tone is what works within its style to make it watchable,everytime I see Michael chiklis I always think of the shield game of him saying goddamn door lol 😂 and peak Jessica Alba and also shout to stan the man cameo RIP,and yes you did the old 90’s fantastic four movie made by roger coreman RIP,alot of people say the best fantastic four movie is the Incredibles and I agree,the stunts and the practical effects are actually good and that one stunt double of Ben yeeted through the room shout to the stunt team work.I rather stick with this version than the michael b jordan one,and yes you should put silver surfer on the next poll it’s also fun too and not bad.

Every time I hear about the fantastic four, I’m reminded of Milhouse on the Simpsons getting ripped off by comic book guy, “ This magazine you sold me isn’t fantastic four! It’s fantastic floor! My family can’t put in new floors, we rent!” Anyway, I had never seen this one before, but like you guys, I had always heard it was bad. But it was actually ok.

I think the problem with this movie is there's no other plots going on. Not much actually happens. It's just the Four and Doom dealing with having powers, and Doom wanting more. There are no stakes outside of that. The only subplots are really small like Ben finding a girlfriend and Johnny being an X games guy. It feels like Doom should have been trying to claw back his company using the knowledge of powers as a promising investment etc, not just go full killer mode instantly. He doesn't have any henchmen, there are zero other antagonist characters in the whole movie. Richards is supposedly in debt but they spend the whole movie working on the Fly machine stress free. They should have had SHIELD or some other government types trying to make him weaponise their powers and create supersoldiers. Which apparently the machine can, after Ben put himself in it a second time and got his powers back. It feels a bit empty compared to what it would be if it were made today.

Besides the music choices, honestly a pretty *solid* movie. Doom is the primary reason for thinking its good, but yeah not bad. Jessica Alba was definitely my celebrity crush during the time this came out which also doesn't hurt.

Unexpected, but really nice to see you guys loved Fantastic Four. I like it too; the cheesiness and the plentiful use of their powers sells it REALLY well. Since you guys liked it, on another week, it'd be cool to see Fantastic Four 2 commentary. Silver Surfer movie keeps itself relatively grounded, keeps up the cheese, so go into it with no fear. MB Jordan version is skippable: that gritty reboot is WAY too boring.

This movie was not bad, before re-watching I would have said I remembered it being awful. Maybe I am remembering the sequel more, haven't seen it since it was in theaters.
