Lol, that boomer Pops references, talking about history in the beginning? That’s what the movie “300” is based off of. Not sure when the directors cut for the warriors was released, but if it was after 2007, I’m sure that had something to do with them adding all the ancient history dialogue in the beginning. A 300/The Warriors allusion.

FUN FACT: The most Iconic line in this movie was never meant to be a part of the movie. The entire moment was made up on the spot by the actor, who did not have a line. The director loved it so much, they reshot it with the close-up and kept it in the movie.
