I think the THING infected the aliens in the ship and it crash landed in the ice.

Drew Gold

Guys please do Halloween 🎃

Cyber Runner

Ennio Morricone on that soundtrack whoo sheesh

mcgeemr

it was a thing that is a thing that will always be the thing

Space Raider

For it’s origin I always assumed that the Thing was an Extraterrestrial Germ Expierment gone wrong. it escapes its containment on the UFO kills & consumes the crew. The ships crashes in to the ice gets flash frozen for 100,000 years.

BigBoss

chop9suey28

Holy shit I never get tired of this amazing classic! There were times I got so engrossed into the movie that I forgot I was watching commentary lol.

kaijukyle

One of the best movies ever. Looking up theories about this film is pretty fun too

kaijukyle

Happened to me to lol

AvtheLost

An awesome fan theory is that Mac has a Molotov cocktail at the end of the movie and the Thing doesn't know the difference between gasoline and liquor and pretends to enjoy it.

Samuel Angeli

My favorite Horror Movie! Man I'm stoked for this.

Mischief3k

I LOVE this movie. Another fantastic John Carpenter movie. I upgraded my copy to the 4k restoration, can’t wait to throw on the commentary

HazyWavyGravy

Nice intro boys! Can’t believe you guys haven’t seen this one yet!

Decal7

I absolutely love this movie! Great job guys

jonathan barringer

THANK YOU GUYS FOR MAKING THIS!!!!!!!! ive been waiting forthis one for so long!!!

Like_Fahrenheit

first time i've seen this. what I like is that we never see the alien's true form. It seems so monstrous, but has the dexterity and intelligence to build and fly a spaceship. so it's hard to imagine what its true form does look like.

Native Luna

Oh shit!! Nothing But Trouble!!! Let's go!!!!!

Dead_man90

Great gift from you boys after working 7 straight days in a row!

DiscipleXIII

I’m so happy this finally made it! This is my number favorite Halloween movie, and Jaboody made it even better!

chillypoodle

Such a good movie! They also made a game for the Xbox in 2002 that was pretty good. Might be worth checkin out on stream

Bryan Sutton

This Halloween season is popping off!

Clifford Romoser

2 things for the Jaboody peoples. The part where the doctor got his arms eaten, they used a real amputee for that scene. And 2, there is a series of comic sequels to this movie.

Wizkidfantastic

woah that spooky intro got me hyped for October

DoomedKnight

The Thing is my all time favorite Horror movie, so happy you guys did this commentary :D

Justin Tiedemann

I lost my shit every single time ginger Justin was on screen.

Chucknorrissdong

Like said. It was Gasoline that childs drank and that's why Kurt laughed because he didn't react to drinking it

Slckwitit

Great movie to kick off the spooky month!

Slckwitit

it was pretty uncanny lol

ATXtralife

Fun fact: where you and pops only saw the new one before and lew the old, this film picks up right where the new version ended. Was a “surprise! It’s a prequel!” Moment that actually worked
