Hardware: post-apocalyptic horror movie where Christmas kicks off the plot, fantastic effects Dial Code Santa Claus: came out before Home Alone, kind of a more brutal version of the same plot Scrooged Ghostbusters II: has some Christmas parts but is really more of a New Year's movie, I'm just a big apologist for this movie and don't think it's anywhere near as bad as people say Die Hard 2 Christine 1983: part of it takes place during Christmas time I would suggest Maniac Cop 2, the first movie is also pretty good but only 2 has Christmas stuff going on

For some batshit crazy low-budget movies check out Feeders 2 where Santa fights little aliens in rural Pennsylvania or I Believe In Santa Claus where a kids parents are kidnapped by African rebels and then Santa and a fairy queen have to rescue them. Yes both those descriptions are accurate!

Christmas Vacation's a classic comedy if you're looking for something funny. Or if you want something a little raunchier Bad Santa is a goodie.
