*This is just a bonus commentary / test for doing a remote call-in setup. Glad to see that this worked but we are going to get Pops a microphone upgrade. We just want to future-proof the possibilities of potentially needing to do more commentaries remotely if schedule conflicts happen in the future so you guys don't have to wait so long, but we will always prioritize trying to get all the boys together in the same room. Don't worry though, we plan on recording THREE BIG BOY movie commentaries for ya guys within this week! Stay tuned!

Also - if any of you have recommendations for any other Christmas TV Specials, let us know!

We rolled the dice on Christmas TV Specials and X-Files came up! Unfortunately it is LITERALLY the cheapest episode X-Files produced... but we had fun!

joe cottrell

Wow, I just recently started rewatching XFiles. Crazy timing!

llama

Call sounds fine. truly. For tv specials definitely some animated ones. Simpsons, Charlie Brown, Garfield Christmas special, Ed, Edd n Eddy, OG Grinch, and Grandma got ran over by a reindeer.

Will See

grandma got ran over has a tv special?

llama

it aired on Cartoon Network in the late 2000s

jaboodydubs

OG Grinch might have to be another stocking stuffer this week!

Razvan Sarbu

Tis a Christmas miracle, can't wait to watch!

Razvan Sarbu

Btw im pretty sure "Seed of chucky" runs during Christmas time, could be a cool pick! We love the Chuck round hereeeee

Joe Heimbecher

One of my favorite x-files episodes! “Was that a left cheek sneak?” Can’t wait to listen!

Pogs! I Love X Files, Great Dub Bois. Love The Call-In Setup, But Honestly Don't Mind Waiting Too, Shit Happens And Rather Have Y'all Take Care Of Yourselves First. P.S. A Best Of... For X Files Would Be So Good, Maybe Open The Door To Other Shows.

Kumar Kutliev

I love how Justin predicted the ending, and that goofy "it's not real" ending actually happened. The Dub ended up being more of a podcast with the Lily Thomlin ghost in the background, showing people her "holes." An episode I like a lot is: Squeeze. Also, Brad Dourif from Chucky is in the episode Beyond the Sea, I love his performance in that one.

Joe Heimbecher

That was great! Some good episodes for future viewing are; Jose Chung’s: From Outerspace - a more humorous episode about aliens, has some good cameos Bad Blood - another humorous episode about vampires Home - the famous “banned” episode because of how graphic it was, features an inbred family of freaks!

Will See

I'd be down to watch a handful of good X-Files episodes, I haven't revisited that show since it aired, but if you do it in place of a movie... hopefully you do two episodes at a time!

mcgeemr

Never saw even one episode of this show that was great jaboody boys. Also... (best gifts are always in the stockings 🎅).

Yes +1 vote for "The Best Of XFiles"!! I love the show. Love your commentary. Please do more!

There is a mian story and it gets really deep into ETs, abductions and the government hiding it all with men in black. But there's way more than just aliens. I would suggest following just the main story episodes and reacting to those. Although there are alot. It gets crazy with the cover ups and double-triple agents and secret governments. Here's a list of those episodes https://www.reddit.com/r/XFiles/comments/33zhcr/the_essential_xfiles_episode_list/?xpromo_edp=enabled

Best episode to dub would be “Humbug” imo, really creepy, funny episode. Absolutely love the xfiles!🥹

Hank Greenburg

Lol yeah that is definitely one of the funniest x-files episodes.

Hank Greenburg

Finally got around to watching this. Man that's so wild that THIS is the first episode of X-Files that pops' watched. You both need to watch the first 6 seasons of X-Files, its so so good. The X-files movie would be good to dub after you watch the show up to that point.

Lucy Hunt

I know there have not been many posts lately but more X-files episodes would be AMAZING because there are always new fans to that show to this day, and introductions to your work that are multi-faceted (e.g., movie, TV, youtube) I think are key to your expansion. This is a great community that earns new devotees. Love you all!
