Our first revamp of the movie dubs is up!

So this is what we've been goin on about for some time now. This is my ideal version of what our movie dubs could be.

This was our first test run, we weren't sure 100% on the format or style so it's a bit rocky and Damon's shotgun mic wasn't working/crackles for the first half hour or so but its still enjoyable.

Doing the movie dubs this way cuts out a lot of potential copyright issues. It's more of a podcast/analysis with the movie as the backdrop instead of being front and center.

Now that we have an episode under our belt it, future episodes will be a lot smoother and we know the editing style now.

Thanks for being patient and supporting us so we have the time to dick around with new show ideas / formats.

Comment here and let us know what you guys think of this format!

You were thinking of TMNT 2: Secret of the Ooze

Str8Hype

Production's on point, nice job, I'm amazed. When they pan out you can see their 3 little heads lol ....

McFlyGuy622

I love to see you guys react to the movie. Glad to be watching along rather than listening with. Many guffaws to come!

Alexandru Vicol

Thanks for the effort, guys, looks really great! Personally, I'm in the sync-your-own-movie camp, this new format pushes the dub slightly towards a discussion about the movie. What I loved in the previous format were the voices and following your parallel stories. I don't think 'Party in the back, business in the front' guy would ever be born in this format. Back then I was complaining about not seeing you guys, but I guess I didn't know what I had til it was gone. At least I have Samurai Cop and The Stuff to fall back on in dire times.

smashmouth1

this is pretty nice but i do like the sync as well would be awesome to have both

SloshyCoolRanchDoritos

Holy fuck, probably my new favorite dub. New format is dope but commentary tracks would still be cool to have. Still a funny dub though, thanks GoofyDudes!

BigWave

Fuck yeah!

Benjamin (octojay)

Frank can't catch a break.. he forgot to turn Damon's mic on..

EdwardAlcala

Still got my VHS tape from 94 of this movie

Mr.Glasses

This was fun I did love the movie tracks but this is great so we can see your reactions in some fun moments of the movie cant wait for more

Mr.Glasses

Same I have it stored somewhere in my garage

EdwardAlcala

Mines tucked under my other tapes and ps2 lol

Khronogi

Enjoyed it, But We totally need the full thing. One of the great things about the movie dubs is watching with you guys, because all the jokes continue with. I'll even deal with shitty sync issues if I have to lol.

DeadManFlopping

I really enjoyed it. Love the theater look, really looks nice. I like that you can watch it the new way or you can watch it old way with just the commentary and sync it up. It would be cool to have little easter eggs in the background too. Keep up the good work.

Drox

Loving the new format

Hshgf

You've really nailed it with this new format guys.

BigWave

Love the RHPS style a lot!

Carson C

Loved it. And if this is what it takes to avoid copyright accusations, so be it!

SkyFrom D-squad

Liking the new format, did you guys cut some of the movie out though? good ol google says the run time for this movie is an hour and a half.

Dead_man90

Damn I was really hoping they'd notice the quarter falling out of the pink rangers pocket at 10:23, but I do love the new format, no more worrying about syncing or having to resync if I have to pause

Carson C

Also, " keep him dead" had me rolling for hours

CamieMcG

Great new format Goofy Dewds!

Mike

I perfer this format since I dont have to look for the movie but I will look for it to listen to you guys.

Ben B

Guys could you please put the full audio version for those of us who don't like highlights and have no problem finding and syncing? Like I'm pretty sure you guys said it was easier doing that than making the highlights. Thanks

Daniel Szilagyi

Haha Zordon looks like Anakin from the original trilogy, just a pasty old dust-covered man
