Grab your dice and follow Robin Williams in an epic adventure filled with giant bugs and crazy eyed monkeys. This movie was one of our favorites growing up and the CGI still holds strong. A little spoiler however... this turns out to be a Christmas movie! Happy Holidays everyone!

Apologies for the delayed Movie Commentaries. Our recording PC crashed and got hit with an ear infection. But we make it up to all of you with extra movies soon!

ATOMIC CHORIZO

I wonder if the cartoon of this still holds up.

Scott Johnson

Anyone know any platform other than max to watch lmk

llama

I'm going to say it, but I prefer Zathura over Jumanji.

Jonathan Rivas

Is anyone else being redirected to Back to the Future Part 2 on Peacock when clicking the link, or is it just me?

Will See

Stay healthy, thanks 🙏

Dystopian Wolf Studios

I watch this movie when it came out in theaters and they had like monkey cutouts or something in the curtains so they light them up sometimes at the end

Will See

I watched with Peacock sub

This is definitely a childhood classic. Though, now rewatching this for the first time in over a decade, I think the newer ones might actually be better. Or at least just as good.

BYSweekly .

Pumped you guys chose this movie, classic!

Scott Johnson

A lot of ties wonder the next movie will be

Scott Johnson

Yes that would make a great commentary

The4thkind

Can we get yerboy Dame/ our boy Dame for the next dub , for some good ol throwback vibes?!

Melon Head

Did for me to. You can just copy and paste the address to go to the right page

Took me so to realize his dad is the hunter, all the times I watched it it never clicked until a few years ago lol…also the custom sneaker that DAG made for him in the beginning was modeled after the Charles Barkley Airmax CB 94 they just replaced the Nike logos with Parrish

Dude so glad to hear you guys feeling better and back in action!! I got another one to add to the list down the road and I’m sure someone prob suggested it before. The 6th Day. Ahnaaald and AI. Nothing more to say other than it’s so bad they didn’t tell it about the Christmas party. Merry Crimmis Fellas!!

nice. can't wait to check out this movie again. there's a neat video on youtube explaining why the lion cgi looks much better than the monkeys - basically it's because they had footage of lions walking and doing basic stuff so it was easier to replicate through cg, whereas the monkeys there was almost no reference to a monkey throwing shit in a kitchen and doing other crazy stuff. so the monkeys were animated from scratch while the lion had more references to draw from. that and lighting plays a big part.

Wonderful dub!!! ❤️ Happy Holidays!

DankedOutEwok

lol anyone else getting sent to back to the future part II when you click the link?

Finished watching. I remember the ending, but it never really hit how weird it is that there's fucking time travel basically. Sure, magic board game, but time travel and altered timelines? Comes out of left field basically.

Andrue r.

This made me laugh so hard, especially the part where you guys point our how weird it is for Alan to he jealous of Peter. Never noticed as a kid but made zero sense

Moviejunkie

Then there’s Zathura. Jumanji in Space

Hank Greenburg

This movie is actually a lot better than I remembered. DAG showed up big for this and his plotline was hilarious. You guys really need to watch Zathura now.

Ninjaturtles20

this movie is ok with dated 90’s effects and funny sureal humor, its fun and adventurous and the sequels are good and tons of fun with the rock with video game avatars in the real jungle
