I love this, this goes right against the typical fantasy-trope: The ancients knew so much more, we are just poor imitation, lesser men wandering among the ruins made by giants, yadda yadda. While they have a problem with the foundation of the tower, they know about hydraulics and how to use it. And Roshim is very smooth here.
