I really feel for the way Cody is explaining his feelings here: the confusion he experienced and how he learns who he really is. It reminds me so much of my journey. I was a late bloomer too. ❤️

I love him so much. I want to give him a hug and hot cocoa

Also, tremendous admiration for how Cody is facing his dad here. I think even his dad can see what a fine man he's become, as hard as this news is for him to take.

"did you mean what you said? that god can be in a love like this too? or did you change your mind?" incredible line. the way it subtly but openly implies that god is just a stand-in for his father's moral judgement, and/or that Cody equally doesn't want to disappoint either father (holy or not) but neither will he entertain the idea that the love he feels for Willy is something other than holy

The emotional intensity you manage to convey here is amazing. The range of facial expressions: superb. The dialogue: absolutely flawless. And the way you mix up the framing - viewpoint, cropping - to draw the reader's eye is just the icing on the cake. This is graphic storytelling of the very highest order. Panel 2: I love it when a fur's ears splay up and down like that. Best way to signal a confounded mind I've ever come across.

The weight of the emotions in Cody's father's face in the third panel is absolutely fantastic. The choice of the top-down angle to show him shrinking in response to the reality that he's facing and that he's created - excellent work.

I appreciate alot of what your doing with Cody's dad, he was wrong very very wrong but in a way its like its all settling on him. And you can kind of see a sorrow in him, like he is almost scared and its an interesting emotion.

With his world shattered in a very specific way, it would make sense for Mr. Green to be all confused like he is. His son is one of Them, those dirty, nasty queers. But also, he's showing enough of a commitment to one of them that... well. He gave Willy the cross, a family heirloom. So now Mr. Green really has to come to terms with that, and then Cody his own self came running to Willy's defense. It's not gonna come all at once. But I think Mr. Green could become an ally to his son, and Willy.

100% bet dad is closeted gay. Or at the very least closeted Bi-sexual.
