3.99? (Patreon)

There has been some talk for a while between TG authors about raising the price of new release stand-alones from 2.99 to 3.99 to keep up with rising inflation. 2.99 has been the standard price of erotic content since 2013 when I started publishing and it hasn't changed today--but the value of a dollar certainly has changed! 

After speaking with a dozen other authors in this genre, we agreed that if we're going to do the raise, we would all to it together, so nobody is undercutting anyone else. But those fears are still there: would the extra dollar scare you away?

Be honest with me because we all want to know! How would the increase to 3.99 affect your decision to buy a book? Would the increase make you look for different options?
