Big Update For Future Content (Patreon)

Thank you for being patient over the past couple of weeks while Amazon turned my whole workflow upside down. I'm not a huge fan of change, but I suppose it's inevitable. To make matters worse, I pulled my rhomboid (upper back) and had to spend a night in the ER. I'm on painkillers for that while also getting through a nasty flu (I lost my voice last night and am currently mute). 

I like to think that I'm the kind of girl who makes the best of a bad situation, so I've been working hard on a plan to come out of this better than I was before.

Yesterday, Amazon finally reinstated my account. I've published this week's book, but it's currently being reviewed; they warned me that now, because of this 'suspension', I will face much longer review times with each new release. At least I have the account back. 

Amazon told me to delete any plagiarized material from my account, but didn't tell me what they thought was plagiarized (spoiler: none of it is plagiarized because I've written every word and made every cover myself since I started this gig, using stock photos that I've paid for). But just to stay safe, I went through and deleted about 20% of my entire catalogue--not because I thought it might be 'plagiarized', but because I've heard rumblings of Amazon cracking down on inappropriate content leading up to Christmas (they always try to clean up the storefront around Christmas). 

I don't want to take any chances, so I took down everything that seemed like it could potentially one day maybe frustrate some reviewer over at Amazon who didn't get enough sleep. It took me six hours to comb through every book for content that could be deemed against their ToS. 

I removed over 70 titles from Amazon, and more from other pen names that I've started over the years. It wasn't easy to do; it feels a lot like erasing two years of work, but I cannot lose my Amazon account so I have to take every precaution.

MOVING FORWARD

I know that some people here were upset when I took down all of the free books and monthly pre-releases last week while Amazon reviewed my account. Fellow author, Jane Futa, who was been through this same process, advised me to do it. Those books probably shouldn't have been posted here to begin with. When I started this page, I was told that there's a loophole with Amazon's exclusivity contract that I signed in order to be in the Kindle Unlimited program. The contract says that I can't sell my books elsewhere, but someone told me that offering books as perks is considered 'gifting', and authors can still gift their books if they're in the KU program. Long story short, I still don't know what's allowed and what's not (Amazon is incredibly vague with their ToS). So to be safe, I pulled the books from here. 

Also, there is a pirate website run by someone with a very annoying Robin Hood complex (I've tried reasoning with him via email, and he seems to think that he's some sort of demigod of the people...). He's posting my Patreon content on his website. This page is behind a paywall, so Amazon can't see it. His page is public, so Amazon can see it. He's refusing to take down the stolen content and there's not much I can do about that. 

Anyway, long story short, I will no longer be posting anything here that will also be in Kindle Unlimited. It's just not worth the risk. But that doesn't mean that there won't be any content here--quite the contrary... 

Because now, I have over 70 titles that are not available anywhere. I will be posting them all here, one per week, starting when the KU 90 day contract expires on Feb 1st, 2023.

I will also be publishing books here from my other pen names that I nuked from Amazon. They aren't TG-themed, but erotic nonetheless, and good for some fun. Long story short, there's tons of content coming in 2023 (once this 90 day contract expires).

GIVE ME FEEDBACK

I'm doing my best to keep this Patreon page a worthwhile experience. I hope you all understand that I have to prioritize my Amazon account; it's the bulk of my income, and without it, I would be forced to quit publishing and writing. I know that sounds dramatic, but it's simply the truth. Amazon controls the majority of the market in eBooks. I understand that there are other websites; most don't allow non-US residents to post, the others are a drop compared to the giant that Amazon is. 

I want to know if this experience has been fun for you. I've reintroduced the Sissy Games (now called Sissy School), but I can see that the posts aren't getting a ton of activity. Is this something you want to see more of, or less of?
