🔨 Forging the Future #3 — Style Wars (BONUS CONTENT: 20 Animations!!) 🎬 (Patreon)
Content
Hey everyone!
First off, thank you all so much for the continued support. It really means a lot.
Getting the new PC fully set up has definitely introduced some delays for the next update. Originally, I wasn’t planning to switch to the new system so early in development… but the generation quality coming out of the new setup is just too good to ignore. Once I started testing it, there was no going back.
So while you’ve all been patiently waiting, I wanted to share a little something back with you.
🎁 Bonus Content — 20 Animations!
As a teaser for what the new setup can do, I put together 20 bonus animations and additional images for you to enjoy.
These clips give a glimpse into the kinds of scenes and ideas I’d love to explore further in the future. Think of them as a small preview of what the upgraded pipeline can produce.

🎨 Today’s Topic: Style
One of the biggest challenges during the early development of Celina’s Calling was deciding what visual style the game should ultimately have.
As I mentioned in previous posts, Chroma is an incredibly flexible image model. That flexibility is great… but it also means the door opens to a lot of different possible visual directions.
To demonstrate this, I’ve included three versions of Celina generated with slightly different Chroma-based styles:
📷 Photorealistic
Photorealistic aims to be as close to real life as possible.
This style does a fantastic job of bringing an erotic fantasy world to life in a grounded way. Characters look like real people, environments feel tangible, and scenes carry a strong sense of realism.
That said, reality isn’t always as “perfect” as fantasy might prefer. Models trained for realism will sometimes include small imperfections in skin texture, lighting, or proportions. Sometimes that adds immersion… sometimes it can feel less ideal.
✨ Hyperrealistic
Hyperrealistic is essentially “beyond real.”
I see this style as the fantasy version of reality — what people wish reality looked like.
Smoother skin
More idealized body proportions
Stronger visual polish
A heightened sense of beauty
It isn’t quite realistic… but it sits in that sweet spot where fantasy and realism blend together.
🎌 Anime
Anime probably needs no explanation.
A classic and beloved style with a huge fanbase. It allows for exaggerated expressions, stylized anatomy, and a completely different artistic vibe.
Perfect for all the weeb-loving anime fans out there.
🤔 The Current Direction
Right now, I’ve been blending photorealistic and hyperrealistic elements depending on the scene. Sometimes the results lean one way, sometimes the other.
Honestly… I’m still a little torn.
As I continue improving my AI workflows — and especially as I start thinking ahead to Celina’s Calling 2 — I’ll eventually need to settle on a consistent visual identity and stick with it.
So I’m curious:
What style do you prefer?Photorealistic? Hyperrealistic? Anime?Or is there another style you’d like to see explored?
Your feedback really helps shape the direction of the project.
⚒️ Quick Development Update
I’ve almost finished the animation for Urzok’s scene (there are a few small spoilers in the bonus animations 👀).
Over the next several days I’ll be:
Finishing the remaining images needed to complete the in-game day
Implementing everything into the game itself
Once that’s done, the next build will be ready.
Thank you again for your patience and ongoing support. The forge is burning hot right now, and some really exciting improvements are coming soon.
