Hey everyone!

Just wanted to share a quick update on the progress of Celina's Calling v4.1.

Work is continuing steadily, and I'm incredibly excited about where this build is headed. This update will serve as the beginning of the story's grand finale, with many of the mysteries woven throughout the game finally starting to be revealed. It also sets the stage for what comes next and provides an important bridge into the future of the series.

I'm currently up to 16 brand-new animations, and I'm only a few scenes away from completing the main event of this update. After that, there will still be some additional work needed to tie everything together and bring the build to a satisfying stopping point.

⚑ A Possible Change in Release Plans

I've been going back and forth on how best to handle the release.

At the moment, I'm leaning toward releasing another update before the entire story is fully complete. If I go that route, Version 4.2 would become the first build that contains the full conclusion to Celina's Calling.

I believe this is probably the best approach. It would allow me to get new content into your hands sooner and maintain momentum after such a long period without a release.

πŸŒ™ We're Getting Very Close

The story is reaching some of the most important and dramatic moments in the game, and I'm putting a lot of care into making sure the ending feels cinematic, emotional, and worthy of everything that has been building since the beginning.

Thank you all for your continued patience and support. Your encouragement is what keeps me motivated to keep pushing forward.

More to come soon!

I love the concept of an earlier release with a single path completed instead of waiting two or 3 times as long for the full story. Make whatever decision makes the workload most bearable for you so we can all enjoy your final release when it gets done. :D

Mr. Morrak, I respect the amount of work that goes into developing a game, but I would be honest in saying that the repeated delays have been disappointing for many of us who have been waiting patiently for the next update. Over the past few weeks, several timelines were mentioned, yet the version still has not been released. I completely understand that unexpected situations can happen, but clearer communication and more realistic estimates would really help the community. We still support the project and look forward to the next version. I simply hope there can be a more consistent update schedule moving forward. Thank you.

Sagnik - Please know that I work on this game in my free time. I have a full time job, family, and other hobbies outside of working on this game. The blunt truth is that I normally am not exactly sure when updates will come next. I'm learning as I go and my own standards are constantly shifting and changing which alters release dates. Last thing I'll say is that I had a Patreon post for Subscribers back on April 29th that stated the end of May is the likely timeline for the next update. Subscribers get more insight than free supporters so if you want additional details on progress between updates, I hope you'll consider supporting.

I understand that you develop the game in your free time alongside your full-time job and personal responsibilities, and I truly respect that. My previous concern was not meant as pressure, but rather came from the changing timelines and expectations that were shared over time, which naturally made many of us excited, curious, and eager for updates. Regarding the subscription, I also wanted to mention that I was genuinely interested in supporting the project through it. However, the current available payment methods (PayPal and card) are unfortunately not accessible for me, as I primarily use Google Pay. Because of this limitation, I have not been able to subscribe even though I intended to support the project. I hope you might consider looking into additional payment options in the future, as I believe it could help more supporters like me contribute. Thank you again for the clarification and for continuing to work on the game. Looking forward to the next update whenever it is ready.
