V4.2 Bonus Scene Complete 😈⛓ (Patreon)
Content
Everyone,
A quick progress update!
I've been diligently working on the bonus scene for nearly a week now, creating 20 images and 7 animations. Let's just say... this one was a challenge.
As my standards continue to rise, I'm learning just how difficult it is to keep characters and environments perfectly consistent using AI. In particular, recreating a medieval town punishment scene from multiple angles proved far more difficult than I expected. After over 2,000 generated images and more than 250 animations, I think I've finally reached a result I'm genuinely happy with.
Is it perfect? No.
Am I proud of it? Absolutely.
I think everyone is going to enjoy this bonus scene.
With that complete, everything for V4.2 is now finished except integrating the content into the game and writing the associated dialogue and events. There's still a good amount of work ahead, but this is the part I've been looking forward to the most. The final chapters will finally reveal many of the dark secrets surrounding Celina's world.
The finish line is getting very close.
A Quick Thought...
One thing I've realized during development is that RPG Maker MZ uses very little of my computer's resources. That means I can comfortably run my AI generation setup in the background while writing and implementing the game.
Because of that, I've been considering offering custom AI image and animation commissions as a side project.
The idea would be fairly simple: you'd fill out a request form describing exactly what you're looking for, and I'd create custom AI-generated content based on your specifications.
I wouldn't want this to interfere with development—especially with Celina's Calling 2 already on the horizon—so I'd likely price the service accordingly and only take on a limited number of commissions.
If that's something you'd be interested in, let me know in the comments below. I'd love to hear your thoughts.
As always, thank you all for your patience, encouragement, and continued support.
We're almost there.– Morrak Games
