Hey everyone,

I wanted to give you all a proper update on Arielle's Descent! I've been working hard, and so much of my time lately has been focused on the essential base world building—maps, characters, the game outline, base character assets, music, and more.

The great news is, I have officially moved into developing the game's core content! I'm already finished with the title screen and the introduction scene.

During development, I discovered a technical challenge: the lipsync workflow I have lowers the overall quality compared to my standard workflow. Since they use different models, I've decided that for now, character speech won't be lip synced in the game. Instead, there will be a narrator who speaks at times to set up situations and scenes (she introduces the world in the opening scene).

Right now, there is a fully watchable intro scene which features the first erotic moment of the game, complete with three stunning animations to give players a real taste of what's to come with Arielle. 😈

In-game, I've just reached the point where Arielle has arrived and is beginning to explore the city of Runehaven. My goal is to get more scenes implemented and perhaps reach the point where players can experience the normal daily loop, but I haven't decided yet exactly where I'll be happy for a first release.

Important Note: The first release will be made available to Patreon Tier 2 and Tier 3 subscribers only! That will be the place to be if you want first access into the game!

As always, thank you for your ongoing support. I know there has been little new erotic content for the last several months, but we are getting VERY close to where things will be ramping up again. 😈

I always see videos with animated models speaking without lip syncing but with lips moving and it always throws off an uneasy vibe like something is just wrong. I would prefer an unseen narrator who is not throwing that vibe while telling players what the main character is saying (if you aren't just typing it out instead which you should also include for those of us who can't follow just a verbalized story).
