Hey everyone,

It's here! v0.2 is officially out, and this is the update where Arielle's Descent truly starts to feel like a game. The academy is open, the schedule is set, and Arielle's new life has begun. 🏰

🗓️ The Full Daily Loop

Arielle's days now follow a real routine:

☀️ Morning: attend classes at the Aurelius Academy

🌆 Afternoon: work to earn her keep

🌙 Night: explore the academy and town

🎬 34 Total Animations (+21 from v0.1)

😈 A Note on Corruption

At this stage, Arielle is still the proud, proper noblewoman she's always been, so the early scenes are low corruption. That's by design: her fall means more when you see where she started.

Don't worry, though. Things will be ramping up in no time. 🔥

Frenchman - Follow the north road to the academy. Just walk between the flag posts.

Hey Master Green, I actually copy pasted my save files from the previous release which is v0.1 and from that save I continued the game , I had this issue of not getting inside the classroom but then I started new game and I skipped to the academy afterwards everything was smooth like the everyday loop like u can see the "!" In the class doors and then u just have to follow the day.

Frenchman / MG - Looks like the fix is starting a new, fresh game. Reusing your save files from v0.1 seems to be causing the issues.

Hhm, I did not use a saved file but started a new game with skipping the intro. And still it does not work. I think I‘ll wait for v0.3 🙁

Waiting for the next release!!!! As u said we can see low corruption as its intended to be, otherwise as a story so far its good. Lets see how the story progresses with further releases and Morrak, I liked ur hidden scenes in C.C , I hope u add it here as well not random scenes but bonus scenes like the first night instead of going to hall of memories u can place it somewhere like where the current act is going on...

Yeah, went to classes now can't find Malric. Wandering aimlessly isn't my cup of tea. Good luck with your game

I just met sevrin and afterwards i cant get into any classrooms ?

I was able to navigate everything in v2, however in the cheat section I should have been loading up on the corruption points so I'm now stuck on 39 points. This might not be so important in the full scheme of things but I'm convinced that this is the currency that enables access into a number of environments. However looking at the various videos, I believe I have accessed all of them within the parameters of the game so now waiting for v3. For those struggling to progress, you need to rescue the mage in the magic shop (the one with the light bulb above the door entrance). He has trapped himself in the body of a cat. He then offers the job of handing out fliers. You need to go back a second time as the first time you turn him down. This enables earning the gold to pay for tuition. Remember to save the gold in the cheats section.

Thanks for the hint - with that I was able to continue. However, I think there is too much walking around involved…

I'm at max 40 corruption and lots of money. I can repeat the daily loop but corruption does not increase, I can not advance with the dress shop lady and the arc mage massaging does not seem to proceed beyong the initial round. The obelisks are not lit. I end up going round in daily loop with no progress and rapidly decreasing interested in the game. Can I go any further with v0.2? In CC, the game clearly stated that you've done all you can do for now and it's time to wait for the next release. Arielle does not seem to have this mechanism. Should it? Or am I missing something?

Mikey - Yes, that is the end of v0.2 build's content. I'll be sure to add a note in future builds when max corruption gets hit so players know. I was thinking the Hall of Memories would serve as a better guide since many scenes are repeatable but I can see some players are still getting confused on when the build content ends.
