Dungeon[Shrine of lnner Mirror] (Patreon)

(Challenger = Lucas)

＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿

You are likely aware that Lucas possesses both shark and fox forms, but the reason he took on the form of a fox is something that will be revealed within this dungeon.

(This story takes place before he met the many people he knows now...)

For thousands of years, a nine-tailed fox spirit remained sealed within a mirror. That mirror was quietly passed down through generations, and even as the town transformed into a sprawling metropolis filled with skyscrapers, the mirror continued to be venerated.

However, the fox sealed inside was eagerly awaiting the moment of its resurrection. It eventually succeeded in possessing a young man who appeared before it.

Since then, it has resided within his body, occasionally taking control to amuse itself.

You see, this dungeon was formed from the very concept of her—a concept that had been sealed away for ages.

Be careful if you suddenly find yourself in a city setting. If you touch the mirror in that shrine, you might end up possessed, just like Lucas...

(*Note: While this story has been reinterpreted for the Dungeon series, the core narrative remains the same.)
