A mucous cave that drips green gel. Or some facility? There are futuristic compartments. Somewhere in the distant future, a record goes back in time, creating a dungeon for this era.

E-ROU, which is an erosion fusion creature, breeds there and tries to assimilate with the dungeon challenger.

Immediately after the fusion, they maintain their sanity to a greater or lesser degree, but sooner or later the fusion person will be overwhelmed by E-ROU's instincts and will increase the number of victims in order to reproduce.

In particular, a fusion person whose body color has changed to the color of E-ROU is dangerous because they do not have their original consciousness and are ruled by a superior species, so they cannot communicate.

As an aside, if an ally becomes an E-ROU, it's good to look them in the eye.

If the person is still conscious, the eyes remain as they were.

When controlled by E-ROU, it has the same eyes as E-ROU's eye-like organs. You could use that as a criterion.
