This isn't anything new, but I figured I could share the high resolution version of this in case anyone wants to see my bullcrapped shading and lines.Everything looks better scaled down haha. You can hide a lot of imperfections if you draw on a big enough canvas.

Also first time using shading to really try to get a more defined muscle tone across. Abs are really weird haha.

What IS "new" is a few layers retained while drawing the base figure and stuff.

This is basically the gesture sketch and rough.

and the base body before drawing clothes. (Like a ken doll LOL)

Which feels kind of awkward to share when you get a life long question of specifically "WHY IS SHE NAKED?" especially while drawing in public school. Could give someone pecs and a masculine figure but it's somehow always interpreted as a female character. Ask literally any artist. It happens to all of us. (Or at least everyone I've met.)

Mini tangent aside, drawing the body before drawing the clothes prevents off anatomy and physical features from unconsciously being drawn. Clothing is not a void. Our bodies do not disappear beneath a shirt and pants like you would expect to see in game models or anything to lower a polygon count. And many limbs or other features do NOT line up properly in my older artwork before drawing at least a rough figure before clothing.

It does help with imagining how fabric falls over the body as well. But drawing unclothed figures can come across as a little weird for others sometimes.
