Part of my frequent weekly shenanigans involve coating acrylic keychains in UV resin for our art business. (As well as printing labels and packaging orders for shipping.)I ordered my first test keychains had it on my phone for a couple of months, but at one point the keychain got placed on a wet surface print side down, and it began to peel. A gloss finish from the manufacturer will prevent this from happening as easily but I still want my keychains to last really long because I love keychains, and they don't offer resin coating or sandwich the printed art between two sheets of acrylic to prevent this.

So left is damaged and right is protected with a UV Resin finish.

It's not perfect but it's held up and still looks like new. The UV resin doesn't really even scratch.

It's quite fun to mess with UV resin an dI've done some small crafts with it, a majority of my work with it though is coating keychains and charms.

We have a UV lamp but I prefer to cure my resin in the sun when I can, it feels more efficient and effective, but the lamp guarantees things will be cured in the end if the sun starts going down.

These are current orders that will be shipped out soon, I've coated a few but spent a majority of my time today with the resin mixing different glitter colors after mixing too much green glitter for the top right Cybersix keychain.

I mixed red, yellow, green, and blue glitter into little resin cups as well to try some spot glitter for Aei's Zelda keychain. Again I had a little more than needed for just one so I started coating a few others.

The manufacturer made an error and left gloss off of Aei's other All Might keychain design so I'll have to coat  all of these in UV resin as well. They have replaced our order though with gloss ones. So now we just have a LOT.

This is what's left of work that I need to do tomorrow or so.

I mix resin in a little silicone mold or lids and pour it into a mold I've already mixed resin in and cure for each mix when I change to a different color or glitter so. Random sparkly pendant lol.
