Current Status, & December Patreon Changes (Patreon)

Hello all! My moving plan went totally lopsided. I think because of the number of us applying and a misprint in the applications we submitted as well as a misunderstanding by the group doing the paperwork about how PayPal statements work. We did not get the house we were applying for, and were only told 2 days after our lease for the apartment we had been staying in had ended.

As such, I am currently staying at my mom's house with an extremely temporary setup. My PC is a mish mash of a base 2015 PC with upgraded PSU, Graphics Card, and I added an additional HDD  about 3 months ago as my OS and photoshop/clip studio art files alongside scanned artwork and other general computer things have my current HDD and SSD FULL UP.

My PC does not have any WiFi adapter, and requires an ethernet cable. The ethernet port is broken/stopped working so I use an Ethernet -> USB 3.0 adapter LOL. (Plus the wifi at my mom's is terrible.) The PC's case (which ALSO was a hand me down) fans also aren't working anymore LOL.The room I used to live in at my mom's house does not have my long ethernet cable anymore, as that's packed with the rest of almost all of my stuff.

I will be at my mom's house until January, where we will then move to the next available house in the low income-friendly area we initially applied for when it becomes available! We've already paid the deposit so this one won't suddenly not happen!

I have a laptop that I am borrowing indefinitely (It's an old 2013-ish? 2015? Gaming laptop from a friend's dad who bought a new one or something) I've been using this very frequently for art in the past 5 months, and my brother got a Huion tablet that I use along with the donated laptop that I am ALSO indefinitely borrowing. (He says I can have it, bless his soul) so I'm currently still able to function art-wise through the generosity of my brother and his friend's dad!

TLDR: My PC is kind of unusable currently. (And Frankly, I need to replace it soon anyways.) Not that that is too big of a problem! I have been drawing on a laptop for the past 5 months problem-free. It just means I cannot do pencil artwork and SCAN IT. Until January-ish.

I MAY have to suspend December's pledges as well but it entirely depends on if I fully catch up on my list of things to do while also working on IRL/Etsy/other non-patreon or commission stuff!

Patreon Changes

1. I will be discontinuing some Patreon Art Rewards

The Grandfathered in $8 tier will be fully dropped with no more art credit being given to those pledged to this tier after December 31st of 2020 The tier will be deleted and not charge/exist for January 2021 and onward.

2. Patreon Changes

All Pledgesmaybe deleted and remade. (Not fully sure yet) This will require patrons to re-pledge to the new/updated tiers if you are interested! (Never any pressure, friends!)

I will be focusing on a tip jar type of pledge system! But I will still have art reward tiers. Patreon is my main hub for posting ALL of my content in one place. As well as post them in their full resolution size (unless explicitly requested to post a web/watermarked version). It may be easier or more efficient to get artwork outside of patreon via a full commission! Lower costing tiers can cover Special Patreon Bonuses like discounts or certain commissioned content exceptions.

Custom tiers may be requested I want to be able to offer as many neat rewards as possible. If you find one tier and it's rewards seem to be too limiting, you can contact me for a custom tier and we can hammer out the details!

Art reward tiers will be fewer/limited I am finding myself a little overwhelmed at times with my list of rewards to finisheach month so I will either cut back on the amount of rewards or opt for more simple rewards (which is hard to commit to bc I've updated tiers but I still go overboard LOL.) Some rewards are like the start of commissions that are then finished outside of Patreon. I think it may be easier to simply request for you to do the full commission outside of patreon so it' doesn't lead to you paying extras in the tax/fees for both platforms.

If you want to do a commission every month though through patreon specifically for the same rate each month we can discuss a custom tier.

Streaming I would like to stream artwork more, as it feels like more of a fun little community and a way to interact with you guys, as well as get feedback, stay more focused, and finish work more efficiently/effectively. And it might be an easier way for me to share any tips or answer questions or stuff if anyone has any and wants to know more about my art process. I wanted to do more tutorials or stuff for Patrons but I don't have the time or focus to make full text based tutorials, and I don't know what to explain or how much to explain when trying to make a tutorial or info post!Streaming would be a fun way to kind of help and share my process with you guys if you're interested.

I hear of other artists who do streams for patrons and that seems pretty fun to do! Once I get a decent mic and tiny simple setup, I'd love to do it more.
