hi any word on a 720p option too? file size is much more manageable than 1080p

A 720p option is something I’ve looked into, but the main issue is that I’d have to generate a separate 720p version of every mashup, upload and store both versions, and then manage an additional video file for every post. It would add a whole new layer to the current workflow, so I’m not sure it’s something I can reasonably add right now. In the meantime, while I’m not sure what your setup is, you can convert the 1080p file to 720p pretty quickly on your end using something like HandBrake, VLC, or FFmpeg. HandBrake should be the easiest option as you just have to open the downloaded video, choose a 720p preset, and encode it.

fair enough, doubling the workload is a tough ask; if you ever figure out a way to do it with less work, I'd appreciate it; otherwise I'll have to try handbrake. just curious, did you do that with Dropbox which has 720p as a download option? or does Dropbox automatically convert your 1080p to a 720p version? I've never uploaded anything there

No, when I was still using Dropbox and uploading directly to Patreon, I wasn’t making separate 720p versions myself. My assumption is that Dropbox automatically generates alternate quality versions from the uploaded 1080p file, which is why 720p was available as an option.
