I really love season one, but I think you’ll like the next few seasons even more Jim! They’re slightly more structured but still allow the boys plenty of freedom to explore and relax and do what they want! Also, I love Jin in this. The other boys are talking about how they’ll remember the trip for years to come and Jin’s just like “I’ll probably forget the entire trip by tomorrow”😂 I get you Jin, even with trips that are really relaxing or fun, usually I’ll only remember them when I see pics

Can’t wait for seasons 2 and 3! 😆 I like season 1 but I feel like it’s too chaotic for me 😂😭 I think seasons 2 and 3 are better! 💜💜

So true! The members still struggle with trying to enjoy themselves while being on vacation because they always feel like they should be working or practicing. Namjoon and jimin especially mentioned that during in the soop 2. That moment with tae talking on the phone to his grandma is really bittersweet because only a year later, she passed away. Season 3 has my heart because it was my first bon voyage that i watched while it was airing. It was so much fun and i can even remember the hot summer i was also dealing with during that time. These episodes get longer and longer bear in mind, can't wait to see more seasons from you and also behind the scenes. Lots of cute and iconic clips can be found in them.

For me watching Bon Voyage is almost like getting to travel because it’s not glamorous it’s camping bathrooms, worrying if you have funds to feed everyone a special meal, laughing at each other. It’s really wholesome and makes me appreciate then and absolutely humanizes them. Tae getting lost is still the funniest thing maybe because I did this when I got lost in Scotland alone just wandered around till I found my way happy to be in the moment. Also the fact it’s not perfect they lose things, they suffer consequences like RM leaving sucks but it’s also a real consequence so it doesn’t feel fake or scripted. I enjoy these and In the Soop a lot.

Yay, season 1 done. I'm glad you enjoyed it. BTS always think about music and working. I guess what most of western audiences don't understand at first is that being in BTS means you have a full time job in music. It's not just get the songs from someone and record on a loose schedule, release an album and forget you are a singer for the next 2-5 years. It's completely different from the western idea of a star. Also the food aspect is always evident in BTS' shows hehe Eating together is a cultural thing for Korea and on top of that these boys love them some good food so you will see more of that a season progress. BTW can you believe the letters from Santa Village never actually arrived? They spent so much time writting them as well hahah Looking forward to the next season.

It was so fun watching you react to this. And i agrre, you can see other seasons and when you miss some eras you can go back and check the behind the scenes. it just shows more clips from the season that didn't make it into the final cut

With what you were saying about handwriting in Korean, some people definitely have hard to read handwriting 🤣 One of the most difficult things I’ve found with learning it is reading handwritten Korean and cursive

Sadly the boys never ended up getting their Santa Park letters 😔 they got lost and never arrived to them

Hi Jim. I love Bon Voyage season 1. It shows a typical trip of young people. They are shown as regular people and experiencing what we have experienced during our first trip. Losing things, getting lost, budgeting. It’s fun to see how they all react to these things. The next seasons gets better and better as they matured and become more independent, but season 1 will be my favorite. In the soop was created due to COVID and they cannot travel, but oh boy, we will watch these young men to just cook and eat and still have fun together in one place.

Bon Voyage is excellent mainly because they actually have to do everything by themselves, so if you saw chaos and eating burgers or Korean food on season 1, that's what a first trip is. Then you learn to enjoy other aspects of traveling. I hope they get those letters someday, maybe Santa is waiting for a special occasion lol

Jim these Bon Voyages and Soops made me feel like I went on vacation too. I actually started watching them during the worst of the Covid before the vaccine so it was so cathartic. It is fun watching again with you.
