Jay came out swinging and so did the ARMY. I'm so proud. This is one of the best preferences I have seen. I haven't had time to rewatch the show yet but so far Arson is my favorite song of the night. What was your favorite song?

"What if" was by far my favorite live (at the show).. just watched this and in the stream the air gun noise blocked the crowd chants. (Couldn't hear the air guns at all at the show, unless you were right in front of them probably) ARMY chanting WHAT IF WHAT IF WHAT IF WHAT IF WHAT IF was unreal and LOUD. I was up on the VIP platform so I could hear the whole crowd at once. I got goosebumps several times. So powerful. Also, yes Chicago has a 10pm events curfew currently. The claps sounded better live, there's a tiny delay on stream, but honestly the main issue was you can't clap very easily with an ARMY bomb in your hand and phone in the other. LMAO

Loved J-Hope! I watched a LOT of the performances and my favs were JHope, Metallica, Maneskin.

It's so cool to watch this and see you and everyone in chat freaking out! I was curious if the energy translated through the screen and it seems like it did. Being there, I can say it was absolutely insane and so electric. The screams around me were so loud that I could feel the noise vibrations in the air. The most hyped crowd I've ever been part of!

jjsons

i was there front and center and it was one of the best experiences of my entire life

I knew this would happen! This show turned so many people on to K-pop and it’s diversity. J Hope did an incredible job and so did the army.

I've also found a lot of comments from people asking where we got those "bubble sticks" and "glowing orbs"!!!

This was beyond epic. I can’t pick a favorite because everything was soo good but this is getting a lot of rewatches. One of the best put together sets and keep in mind it’s technically a debut stage for a solo artist. This is the biggest most hype solo debut I’ve seen and from talk of people in industry online it’s blown away already high expectations they had of BTs members and how they do solo. Also Army was everything and I am genuinely teary at how well they supported him going so far as some dispatch pics I saw of several fans just taking time to pick up trash before and after show. Also rumor has it he had water and donuts sent to fans earlier in the day they thought was from Lolla staff but they said was from him. The mutual respect and care the guys and Army have going on is unlike anything else.

Jim!!!!! I loved and related to your reaction to hobipalooza!💓 I was in the front crowd, so while waiting him until 9pm, i got to watch several artists. I am gonna say nobody NOBODY reached Hobi level. Charli had vibe going on but lacked energy. Kid Laroi was interactive at stage but still wasn’t good enough. I might be too biased but when Hobi came up, i felt emotionally connected to every song he sang and every move he made. I will tell you he is perfect in live! These streams really don’t do justice but come close. His stamina is at another level! The dance crew was so diverse, so does crowd too! There were many people stayed after Kid Laroi, and there were lot of people who just tagged along their army friends without being fan of bts. People around me who didn’t listen bts before said they loved it after the show and now they gonna check out bts music. I flew there from Canada for him but there were group of army from Brazil, Puerto Rico and many Latam countries!😭❤️❤️❤️ I loved how many of us made effort to support his first solo live performances. When p.o.p started, i just teared up non stop. Blueside made me very emotional too😭 i am just so proud of him💜 and lastly, I love to watch your reactions!! You are one of few channels I subscribed on patreon, i love your genuineness and how educated you are on music. Thank you🙏

That was so much fun re watching with you Jim and the otter squad. Again I have no bias because BTS are all bias wreakers. My favorite was Cypher Pt 1. I think because of Army participation. I love the way he gave himself to it. The entire show was so good. I love the way he thanked the band, the dancers and gave credit to the artist for inspiring a song. Another thing that so impressed me was the stage. He put money and effort into that stage. No other group had such an impressive stage. On Vlive Jimin was so great complementing JHope and JHope was good about receiving it.

Hangsang and Arson were my favorite of the night 😆

did you notice that vip section in the back? a long rectangular building. the only tickets left after normal tickets sold out in a few minutes. they coast a lot of money 700 i think it was. but you can clearly see every army bomb in that building. insane it´s hard to notice at first but army sold out more than 60 % of the tickets i think, maybe more

look at what Chicago times wrote about the army. "the Bud Light Seltzer Stage was completely lit for J-Hope, quite literally as many fans (a lot of teens and kids with parents) brought custom light wands to add to the glow of the performance"... do any of those people look like teenagers? i think i saw only one boy he was being hold up by his dad and have a sign in his hand it was so cute. but the rest.. i think they dont want to admit the hype for kpop among adults
