The platinum award is new and is only given to artists who have won all four daesangs at once for MAMA. Bts have been the ONLY group to have achieved that and for three years straight. This is a special moment for them. It makes me sad how jhope accepted this huge trophy all by himself without the other members. It's so obvious in his voice and his eyes how he's trying to keep himself together on stage. It must be tough. Hearing from jin was a blessing and seeing the excitement on hobi's face was really cute. I know they're all working very hard behind the scenes and i wish nothing but pure happiness for all of them. 💜 The subs were terrible and didn't capture what he actually said. 😂 Jhope stated: "To us the year 2022 was marked with many difficulties, hardships and trials and we are finding the way through them. The seven of us, all grown ups had to go through growing pains all over again. We have been heartbroken by things that we cannot say outloud but we thought we will be able to give you happiness if only we ourselves are happy. The moment has come where we gotta show you our best and we have to be together with mutual trust. I cannot say that bts has achieved anything so grand this year so i'll take this award with a great deal of gratitude and as a message that we should be humble and wrap up this year successfully. Thank you." 💜 I highly recommend checking out his weverse live after the mama awards. He was pretty upset with himself and not happy with his performance. I thought jhope did an amazing job and brought out great energy.

That dramatic music is included in the actual speech. It's not an edit. :') This isn't the first time that bts has called a member on their phone during an award speech. In 2020 when bts won album of the year, jimin called yoongi who was missing due to his shoulder surgery and he gave a speech. 😊

Sorry the video provided for me was blocked, so I had to search independently. I thought something was strange about the subtitles. Thank you for the clarification

I'm just starting but your intro cracked me the hell up. "Yeah, I'm thirsty." 🤣

Jhope said he wasn't happy with his performance, i'M not sure why, but I thought it was great.

Jim for kicks, watch JHope on the Red Carpet he looks hot, but he is owning it in a tongue and cheek way. Its funny to me since I have watched BTS play at being superstars or run way models when they were younger.
