Photography Set: Nova Amour (Patreon)

I credit Nova Amour with inspiring me to stick with photography. Prior to this impromptu shoot, I was starting to lose interest in my new hobby. This was mostly due to the fact that I had been shooting only local tattoo "models" who were more concerned with looking pretty than making something cool and talked to me as if I was their employee despite the fact their "modeling" consisted of a maximum of 5 poses at best. I had recently had one model to ask me to photoshop her smile lines out of a photo in which she was smiling and another one put an instagram filter over a photo I had painstakingly edited. I'm was totally over this shit.

Although Nova already had hosting in Phoenix, she asked if we could meet-up for lunch and over lunch suggested we shoot. At this point, I had only shot thought-out concepts and was nervous about winging it, but this was my first opportunity to shoot with a fellow art model since I had gotten comfortable with my digital camera and I didn't want to waste the chance.

I am beyond glad I took the chance because Nova's experience as a traveling model and her lack of self-conscienceness renewed my interest in photography. She had pose after pose after pose and I loved soooooooo many of these photos, I ended up editing over 2 dozen of them.
