The Last Days of Limbo (Patreon)

Since the fire, I've felt like I've been in a never-ending state of limbo. I attributed a lot of this to the fact that I knew the apartment I was staying in was not a permanent solution to my living situation. Since I considered my living situation temporary, I never really felt comfortable with or capable of rebuilding and establishing a routine. Unfortunately, saving the money up for a deposit and then finding an affordable place with a fenced yard took me nine months. Nine months of limbo, nine months of discomfort, nine months of uncertainty.
Now that I'm in a new place, I already feel a lot more like myself, more like myself than I've felt in a year. It's nice.
I'm still overwhelmed with a lot of financial stress and general depression, but I'm really happy to be in this new place by myself. I think it suits me very well.
Now that I've got this out of the way, I hope I can quickly get back to doing all the things I love. Hell, maybe I'll even meet someone... but probably not because I can't even begin to fathom trusting someone or someone wanting to be around me.
