Film Friday: Brookeva (Patreon)

I've not wanted to shoot at all this year. There's lots of reasons for that. The first is my camera had been acting up to the point it was almost unusable. I had planned to repair it and after two months of it being with a repair place, they told me it was going to cost about the same to repair as it would be to replace it. I wasn't really prepared to replace the camera but I accepted the situation and started saving and researching cameras. However, it came to my attention that my role as the hiring manager at the club means there's a lot of really shitty, really untrue rumors out there about me because hell hath no fury than that of a scorned stripper. It has really made me hesitant to interact with anyone, including people in my close circle so shooting kind of seemed like a moot point. I also didn't really see the point of spending that kind of money when I've been hemorrhaging an ungodly amount of money into my siblings the last few months. However, so many people really pushed me to reconsider and even offered financial assistance that it seemed like I shouldn't let my feelings and anxiety get the better of me; after all, shooting and art modeling has been, overall, such a positive outlet and creative impetus for me. It also helped that Brookeva visited me during all this and reminded me of all the things I really love about what I do and I really just need to refocus my energy to those things and people. So I Brooke and I shot each other on her camera and then I bought a new camera.
