Well here it is, the first of 365. I'm prone to procrastination but I don't think I've ever procrastinated something I wanted to do as much as this; I was legitimately terrified to do this. This project triggers my endless supply of insecurities regarding my appearance and abilities. I tried to stay true to the only photography style preference I have which is to focus on the face although that's my least favorite part about myself. I also didn't touch up my skin because I'm trying to gravitate away from retouching as heavy as I do on others. The smear of red on cheek is blood because blood, real blood, is one of my favorite things aesthetically. I also made a massive effort to get what I wanted in-camera although I did make adjustments in lightroom. I'm eager to hear what you all think...
