Copper and I are the way to my hometown in California! This is our first solo road trip together! Although I consider San Luis Obispo my hometown, I have no blood relatives there nor was I born there; it's just the only area I've lived in a significant period of time (on-and-off) through-out my life. Also, 99 percent of my closest friends (more family than my actual family) live there. Did I mention I consider it the loveliest place I've ever been? If not for the cost and lack of opportunities, I'd still live there. It breaks my heart I don't. I'm going back to empty my storage unit and to address a personal issue (not mine or else I would share). It's weird I feel I have to justify visiting my home for the first time in a year...
