Don't see how that can hold up without really ultratech materials to take the strain, or a *lot* pf suspensors to support the weight. A lot of suspensors is plausible , but the trick would be getting enough reliability and redundancy to prevent catastrophic failures. Given Harkonnen ethical standards, could they really get the kind of dedicated competent technicians to maintain them? Now wondering if there is a secret society of Harkonnen monk-engineers...

In Heretics its a giant ruin that still holds its shape, its just described as being solid plastic steel and armourplas riddled with holes for suspensor carried traffic and maximally dense living and utility space. Duncan remenisces a bit about his time there during Harkonnen rule and thats where the images above come from: 900 stories tall, 40miles long, top side parks, towering walls, surrounded by a polluted megacity. I guess portions are leased for luxury estates by other houses for their local operations in the system. To he fair there are volcanic scarps on Mars on rought this scale so perhaps with some fancy materials and architecture its not that unbelievable, but then as you say antigravity exists in Dune so who knows.
