Forest Way 24x36 Part 4 (Patreon)

Hi Hi There.

This is a series of four maps that work well together. I will provide you with a story to use them in conjunction, but you can use them however you see fit.

Remembering the main story:

Our heroes have been hired by a renowned sage for a research mission: to copy ancient mystical runes found in various parts of the forest onto paper for study and understanding. It is said that these runes hold arcane secrets that could revolutionize magical knowledge and bestow extraordinary powers.

The ultimate goal is to gather all the rune inscriptions and return to the sage with the collected information safely. If they succeed, they will be generously rewarded for their efforts.

Our heroes arrive at a hidden cave at the base of the mountain, which connects to the uneven areas of the dry lake map and the location of the mercenary camp. This cave serves as a crucial access point between the different sectors of the forest.

Near the cave, there are stone stairs ascending the mountain. These stairs lead the heroes to a platform where an ancient but still magical altar is located. Although the altar is deteriorated, it retains an aura of ancient power that resonates with magic.

The objective in this map is to copy the runes from the altar into the book where they have already recorded the previous runes. However, they must proceed with caution. The mercenaries, who have been pursuing our heroes throughout their journey, are still on their trail and are determined to seize the rune book. These individuals are nearby and may attack at any moment.

The heroes will need to complete the copying of the runes quickly and accurately while defending themselves from the mercenaries' attempts to steal the book and the runes they have collected.
