Path of the Sunken Skull 36x24 Part 2 (Patreon)

Hi Hi There.

This is a series of three maps that work well together. I will provide you with a story to use them in conjunction, but you can use them however you see fit.

Remembering the main story:

Our heroes have been hired by a local merchant who has suffered numerous losses of cargo due to strange phenomena occurring in a section of the forest traversed by trains. Trains passing through this area often experience malfunctions, supplies disappear without a trace, and some conductors have reported seeing spectral figures and strange lights. Desperate for a solution, the merchant sends the heroes to investigate and resolve the mystery.

Our heroes venture into a dense forest intersected by train tracks. At this point, the train has stopped due to some breakdowns. The heroes must wait for the train to be repaired but, at the same time, they need to be prepared for any attacks, as they are exposed and vulnerable to bandits, mercenaries, and even spectral creatures that roam the forest.

While waiting, our heroes sense a disturbance in the environment, like a kind of vibration. Each time they feel this vibration, they notice a weakening effect. They need to investigate what is causing this disruption to speed up the repair process of the train.

There is suspicion that the submerged stone skull in the nearby lake might be affecting the area, altering normality, and attracting dark forces.
