Hi Hi There.

At the foot of a great mountain, a waterfall descends with constant force, carving the stone in its path. Its fall forms a small lake of clear water, bordered by two islands covered in vegetation. Moss-covered rocks, twisted trees, and wildflowers grow everywhere. Fireflies float through the air as if guarding an ancient secret. From this lake, a river flows south, feeding a land full of life.

Although the place appears peaceful, some travelers who have camped nearby report strange dreams, whispers among the trees, and lights that don’t seem natural. It is believed that something has awakened within the mountain, a force that affects the water and all that grows around it.

The characters have been sent by a small settlement downstream. For weeks now, the water has started to taste metallic, and some healing plants have begun to wither. The elders believe the source lies in the heart of the lake, where the waterfall meets the earth. Their mission is to explore the area, uncover the source of the imbalance… and stop it before the river carries its corruption beyond the forest.
