Giraffe Child (Patreon)

Ever had a dream that made you feel... I don't know if I would say spooked... but once you woke up you can't stop thinking about it.  Something about it was strange and surreal you feel kinda' disconnected from the real world, and just keep thinking about the dream.

It wasn't a bad dream... just a weird dream.

It's like your afraid that if you stop thinking about it, you'll forget it, because it already feels like it's fading...

The dream was odd, I was in front of my parents house, guess I'm visiting them or something, weirdly a lot of my dreams take place either in or around my parent's house.

When this... I can only describe it as a giraffe child ran in front of me. It was like a giraffe, but not exactly... it also felt somewhat human too. 

As it passed me, our eyes locked and it changed direction and ran up to me. It told me it needed to find someone named Lady something... I can't remember the name.

I said I did not know that person, but I'm from out of town. I point to my parents' house and say maybe my parents know.

The giraffe child runs up my parents house, gets up on it's hindlegs and proceeds to slam on the door with her hooves.

She was majestic and beautiful whatever she was.

I walk up to the door next to her to see if my parents answer the door.

I look to the giraffe child, I ask if I can touch her. She looks at me with disgust and responds with "Next please." I took that as a no.

I notice my parents aren't answering, so I pull out my key to unlock the door (since I have one IRL).  We enter the house and it is empty.

Then I woke up.

The art posted with this is my attempt to draw what I saw in my dream.  It doesn't feel accurate, but it feels like the best I can do under the circumstances.

I don't know if this means anything or if I will do anything with this.

For now it's just a strange thing that happened and I'm sharing it here so that I don't forget.  So I don't forget about the Giraffe Child.
